This might be a stupid question. But in all honesty are Western Armenians genetically builter then Eastern Armenians. Put western society fast food aside, in general Western Armenians are taller. I'm looking at these soldiers and there frame is small. If I was standing next to them , we look so different from one another and that goes for a lot of Armenians who are from Kikikia etc.
My wife is Karabaghtsi and no one in the family including cousins are taller then 178 cm. I'm 180 and they think I'm really tall. Lol.

Has a lot to do with where you grew up, food, encironment, ... I know many cases of family members where the one who grew up in west europe is way taller than the rest of the family. Generally Armenian aren't that tall but very physical.

The Iranian Embassy in Armenia denied Baku’s allegations concerning
Iranian Ambassador’s speech on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, in a written
statement made on Friday, June 3.

“The Embassy of Iran in Baku never made a statement concerning the
issue, and in his latest interview the Ambassador underlined that the
official position of the Islamic Republic of Iran remained unchanged.

Once again, the Embassy underlines the official position of Islamic
Republic of Iran is the peaceful resolution of the conflict based on
the norms of the international law,” the statement reads.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced on June 4 Edward Nalbandian is
scheduled to visit Tehran on June 5-6.

Earlier, Azerbaijani media informed that Iranian Ambassador in Baku,
Mohsun Pakayin allegedly stated that Tehran stands with Azerbaijan on
Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

“The conflict should be resolved based on the principle of territorial
integrity. The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs should make sure the
requirements of UN Security Council resolutions are fulfilled,” the
Azerbaijani media misquoted the alleged statement of the Ambassador.

Chinese Vice Premier to meet with Armenian President in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - China's first-ranked Vice Premier and member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party Zhang Gaoli will visit Armenia on June 5.
The Chinese official is set to meet with Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

If I was to incorporate an idea , I would firstly put some night vision/daylight sensors to pick up any movement on the border lines. Border patrol guards quickly evaluate the threat and destroy it with a device strong enough to wipe out anything that stands in its path. I would say something like the Gatling. We really don't need to lose lives when you have technology. The Armenian/Azerbaijan border is not so big so I would be thinking about testing such an idea out. The product should be designed and made at home. So basically next time another blitzkrieg style is going to happen, Azerbaijan lose all its soldiers within a few seconds.

It would be most beneficial if along with night vision every one of our positions had several short range cheap mini drones that could be sent to investigate any rock or crevice in case suspected. Sort of aerial eyes easy enough for any conscript to operate without a special training. If it crashes, oh well. Those can be made as cheap as a couple hundred bucks each in Armenia. Besides pinpointing, they would have a big psichological effect on Azeris. Any time they even fart, there would be a drone buzzing overhead.
