Re: Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
In April war there was 2 main factors that maid the diffrence.
One was the human factor and the other technical efficiency. We eccelled on both.
Number one, Azeri special ops was decimated in the hands of our conscripts.
Number two the very high loss of tech for Azeris. Right on the opening bet they lost 2 helicopters. A third hot damaged but managed to excape. If Azeris did not ground their Air Force, in 3 more days they could have lost half of their helicopter fleet.
Then 34 tanks in 4 days is way high and that without even getting main forces on both sides to face off.
Artillery too, our artillery made theirs to jump into mouse holes after every shot.
Israeli drones were total failure, not changing anything with a loss of 14.
We are on the right track. Everyone speaks of war resuming in autumn.
Without surprise element anymore, and our lines stocked.
Maybe we will have high losses, but Azeris will go tru massacres.
I hope they know how calculate.
And if they do... Then they should not make any more moves.Last edited by Hakob; 06-06-2016, 06:17 PM.

Originally posted by Azad View PostHakob, that was a rough concept for one vehicle that could carry any armament/missile that would be appropriate for different operations. Small, light, fast, easy to maintain, no need for truck to move around, can be build in Armenia, will create jobs instead of buying old junk and most likely less fatality then the metal enclosures.
Also the same with thermobaric missiles mounted.

For a $20.000 Nissan or $14.000 UAZ we can build around 2 to 3 units.
You don't need doors on a Nissan that a 22 can go through. For protection from elements in winter we use lightweight canvas material on doors.
If we are too lazy to build our own from scratch, we can buy the UAZ Hunter chassi at discounted price and do the metal work only. UAZ version.

Armenia's TSD company introduces ArmPhone smartphones in Yerevan
Interesting timing with the recent conversation on the thread.
Goes to show Armenia might actually have the capabilities to produce high tech military hardware.
