Yup, the Turkish economy took a huge hit with tourism revenues down about 90% due to the lack of Russian and Israeli tourists. Erdogan is also feeling a cold chill from the EU states and the US. His Syrian policy has also isolated Turkey.

Why? Sure you may not agree with that but I think that it's the normal and right thing to do to evaluate all the propositions and possibilities. Having discussions about it is way better than never talking about it. I'm totally not saying that we should give any cm back but there should be discussion about every possibility.

Agree with Hakob. The position and intent of turc west or east hasn't changed. World pressure is to great upon them, so there is relative quiet now. We cannot abandon the watch tower or our weapons because their (turc) assertions are so obviously ludicrous that the world rejects their idiocy.

I notice that er dog ant's apology follows fiew days after Brexit vote. No way that Turk did not calculate that Europe is going to get weaker and in financial turmoil before divorce settles down therefore not to loose time in kissing Putin's ass.
What happened to "Turkish patience running out in Syria"?
When it comes to patience looks like Turks have the patience of a crocodile, and the ability of said animal to shed tears.
