That we have no friends is no news really. We have known this for a long time. Thats why there needs to be a leader with guts that can tell the world to xxxx off if they dont have our interests in mind. We dont have that now.

            .
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

Incredible amount of show of force being shown by the authorities.

Sadly this will end in bloodshed with unpredictable follow up,

PS. Why is the police bringing in water cannon to solve a high-jack situation inside a police station.

We are going to sacrifice as Azerbaijan is too. Funny how Russians invade Crimes and annex it all in one day and for Armenia they bend our arm. Man we surely got no friends.
What you think isn't enough. Noone else but the people of karabakh and those who fought there can decide for its future. Clearly noone of them will give away any inch of land and Serj can't just give land here and there. Any compromise of land will not only mean war but it will mean the downfall of Serj and he knows it well.

The AR-15s, most are junk and can't stand abuse and you must puppy them. I see this at the range where the AR-15s jam while I keep going with my AK. unless you have the same $5000-6000 range ARs used by special forces you are out of luck.

It is very important to zero your AK iron sights properly and learn how to snipe out to 300-400 yrds. After that you need a good scope to extend your range to 600-700 yrds.
Not going into too much of details on the wrong thread, it all comes to the size of bullets. Lager bullets equates more impact in closer rages 300-400 yards. Accuracy drops after that due to barrels flexing. Some of the modern AKs have that issue fixed or at least they are working on fixing that issue. On the other hand the AR has major jamming issues (as you mentioned) but little better accuracy over 300-400 yards. Also, the wind effect on the larger AK bullet vs smaller AR. In short if you need accuracy over 400 yards you have to switch to snipper rifles unless you are just showering bullets in a general area. In close contacts many have survived the small and fast AR bullet to fire back and kill instantly with the larger AK bullets. As I said, I would not hesitate to pick the AK over any other assault rifle for general use.
