Hey guys, I've been off for a while after all the April mayhem, but I'm really excited to see the massively upgraded military position we now have. I think it's correct to believe this buys us about 5 years of peace in the "mainland" as well as Stepanakert and Shoushi. Hit a major city, and it's mutually assured destruction. It doesn't do anything about the border cities, and you can bet the Israeli-Azeri menace will be working overtime to provide what they will claim are Iskander-defeating technologies (and mark my words, it will be PR fluff, that missile is HARD TO STOP).

Our key at this point will be upgrading our border defenses and local skirmish capabilities. For one, we need a no-fly zone for drones over Artsakh.

The net result will be more years of stalemate, which I suppose is good and bad. An Azeri grunt-rush grab of Artsakh would obviously trigger a devastating war at this point, so it will be more sniping, more 'intelligence raids' and ever-more idiotic meetings between the OSCE countries. Somewhat amusing that after spending so many billions on their military, Azerbaijan is in no tangibly better situation vis-a-vis Nagorno than 20 years ago.

If oil prices will stay under $50 for couple years, the country will go back to the stone ages.
They are in so much trouble I doubt it if they will be able to buy even ammunitions/supplies for the existing armaments.
Aliyev is even preparing his sheep with his speeches.

“As everyone knows, in connection with the fall in the price of oil in the world, our revenues have contracted,” he said. “If the [oil] price has fallen by 75 percent, then our revenues contract by 75 percent.”
Aliyev did not criticize the government for its handling of the economy. Instead, he bemoaned the vagaries of market economics."

Oil prices never fell 75%, they fell around 60% at worse the other 15% is his family's pocket money.

I cannot imagine that there can be any difference betwenn T-72 and T-90 regarding travelling up hills or muddy fields. T-90 A has some advantages compared to the newest versions of the T-72 (Shtora, welded turret, motor etc.). The point is that the advantages of the T-90 don't justify the costs. So the T-72 B3 is the best option for Armenia in my opinion.

There's even a newer T-72 now, the T-72B3M designed for the Russia paratroopers (VDV). It's extremely close to the T-90A and costs around 10 times less.

Btw I forgot to tell you guys that I took a close look at our 9P148 BRDM-2 tank destroyers at the day of the parade, and they have been armed with upgraded Konkurs-M missiles instead of the regular Konkurs.

Just doing some research ',apparently we got the AT3 Sagger Anti Tank Missiles. They are very old but wont be a problem blowing to bits Turkeys old Tank battalions.

AT3 Sagger (NATO designation) or 9M14 Malyutka is one of the most successful ATGMs ever made. They can used on BMP-1s. These are still effective, but not the main ATGM in use in our army.

An NKR soldier has been shot and killed in Southern NKR by Azeri fire.

I hope they get the proper answer for this crime.

Look at these Special forces flags. I have never seen the third insignia before
