What's interesting it shows the command give target coordinates as 348th helicopter base - target 348!
Could it be a helicopter base in Azerbaijan?
It looks like targets have been programmed and numbered allready.
I only can imagine what could the 2000 lbs warhead do.
Planes and helicopters are delicate machines. One large explosion near them will take them out.

I don't think they really fired the missiles. Could have been something like CGI or Copy/Past kind of thing from some other videos on internet. Wasting millions dollars woth missiles for nothing doesn't really sound something logical.

Some of those missiles have to be nearing the end of their shelf life. Might as well fire the old ones and have the crew gin live fire experience... Better than throwing them away.

However expensive, army has to fire those missiles from time to time for verification of crew, weapon and system readiness.
That is what I was talking about when saying the upkeep expenses go up as time passes.
More fancy equipment you have, like Azeris do, more the cost.
I maybe very simplistic in my explanation, but we've seen Russia fire and test Topol missiles and others fiew times a year.
Same way US does with Minutemen and other missiles.
Explanation is given as "scheduled tests".

I was thinking about this topic a couple of days ago.
I would assume the Iskanders would be used to take out targets that need high accuracy like:
- Command & control centers
- Electricity grids
- Airport runways (Heydar efendy airport..)
- Radar stations (their S-300 PMU-2 can be taken out as it's sitting)

While the scud can be used for the second barrage, when they're unable to track anything with their radars. This will cause mass panic among their ranks.
This is how the US starts invading countries, with their Tomahawk cruise missiles at the forefront.

To complement all this though, it would be great to have a squadron of proper jets like Su-24 frontline bombers, because once their radars and most importantly S-300 is taken out, it will be an easy job for jets to carry out bombing sorties. Manpads will not be a threat because their max range is 4km.

What do you guys think about this article?i find it quite intriguing that there has been many websites talking about our ability to produce nukes,which is kinda worrying,but other than that i find the article to be quite realistic (even though they forgot to talk about the scuds which we possess)
