Why doesn't the Armenian/Atsakh military have a website for direct donation purchase of all the stuff they could use? Will be nice if they have something like "registry" with a list of couple hundred products that could be purchase and shipped by Armenians around the world. Binoculars, night visions, thermal .... whatever they need and is legal to export relative to the countries of the donor. I know many Armenians would spend few hundred dollars a year in quick purchases. There are many individual or organizations doing the collection, except it is not the same. They have to have a nice e-commerce website. People will still donate their regular $$$ but this is lost revenue from the impulse purchase for quick donation knowing they directly contributed to a small military item.

That or actually sell some stuff that people would buy like accessories. This could finance whatever they want to buy. I often feel Armenians are great at business for personal gain and terrible at everything related to mutual gains.

You've come and threw at me what I have been saying for many posts and many months now about Armenia's internal situation and soviet legacy and demand that I prove myself wrong? Lol
Calling me an a$$hole? You a$$hole. Lol(don't take it to heart, I did not, your words).
At you should have read my posts and seen that I have been saying the same things about those points.
The only difference that you and I have is about going to west to solve our problems.
Westernizing Armenia's society, I am all for. It would be great.
But society is something, allying ourselfs politically and militarily is something else.
We have discussed this issue endlessly, so much that we are like in Groundhog Day movie.
I don't need to prove you wrong.
Go on and describe how can we be military ally with west and what will happen after.
I am ready for intelligent discussion.
If you are upset at my criticism of west, I am never against western society, but against what west is doing with some countries, especially in Middle East and our neighborhood.
I am against western sponsored opposition because we have already seen what this opposition does in other countries.
Like in Ukraine.
I am also against Russian sponsored government. We see what our government does.
I am for Armenian grass roots government that has national agenda, not money robbing one.
I also said that even if under western umbrella, those oligarchs will steal even more because there will be more to borrow and steal.
One thing though. Do not separate Artsakh and Armenia. It was People from Armenia big time that fought and liberated Artsakh. And at least half of oligarchs in Armenia are actually artsakhtsis.
It is the same people after all.

Even the big items. There can be registry and account tally for each item.
People can put their money like they do it here in bridal showers( I am not jocking, have seen relatives get together and gift big tag items all the time).
Suppose an item that costs hundreds of thousands that have been prioritized.

Once a while I go searching all over the net for a quick military donation and always come up pissed that there is noting to do as a quick coupe hundred dollars donation. I see that nice bearded guy with beret (forgot his name) that does military items collections, and even followed him on Facebook to see if he had a link or a website? ... nothing! It feels like I have to call people across the world to find a site to donate to our military.

I mean It's the governments job to buy all the things the army needs. I doubt they will put an official site since that would mean that the government cant keep the army up to date.
How much difference would lets say a million dollars or two per year make? Isnt that like the cost of one tank? Instead of doing donations we should be investing in Armenia, buy Armenian products,... Helps way more. If you really want to donate I think it would be best to donate to veterans, family of poor wounded/dead soldiers. Those few hundred or thousand dollars will make a huge difference for them.

Donations to veterans and poor is good thing.
But what Azad is saying is not about diaspora funding armed forces. It is about diaspora participation in Armenian military.
There can be things that may be under military radar, that can be helpful.
Things that we can participate. Money, intelligence, research etc.
Most of Israeli military innovations have originated in their diaspora or by participation.
When they talk about drones for example. Diaspora has way many specialists and companies that can help great deal.
Because it may be burden for those financially, a list can be drawn and maintained for everybody else to chip in with donations and other participations.
In short, a way of diasporan participation has to be worked out for military matters, just like it has been worked out for rebuilding civilian infrastructure.
