Why doesn't the Armenian/Atsakh military have a website for direct donation purchase of all the stuff they could use? Will be nice if they have something like "registry" with a list of couple hundred products that could be purchase and shipped by Armenians around the world. Binoculars, night visions, thermal .... whatever they need and is legal to export relative to the countries of the donor. I know many Armenians would spend few hundred dollars a year in quick purchases. There are many individual or organizations doing the collection, except it is not the same. They have to have a nice e-commerce website. People will still donate their regular $$$ but this is lost revenue from the impulse purchase for quick donation knowing they directly contributed to a small military item.

Because there wasn't e-commerce in the soviet union.

Donations to veterans and poor is good thing.
But what Azad is saying is not about diaspora funding armed forces. It is about diaspora participation in Armenian military.
There can be things that may be under military radar, that can be helpful.
Things that we can participate. Money, intelligence, research etc.
Most of Israeli military innovations have originated in their diaspora or by participation.
When they talk about drones for example. Diaspora has way many specialists and companies that can help great deal.
Because it may be burden for those financially, a list can be drawn and maintained for everybody else to chip in with donations and other participations.
In short, a way of diasporan participation has to be worked out for military matters, just like it has been worked out for rebuilding civilian infrastructure.

Oh okay I get what he means now. It's true that there should be some official way for the diaspora to help the army because we have some really smart guys in the diaspora that could help the army. Right now we only have militia from the diaspora.

Oh and if you want to buy binoculars or things like that Azad you should contact Arshak Zakaryan via facebook. He is the guy frop Dirkerum and during the war he gave lots of gadgets to the army. He is semi-official and has good contacts with real officers.

Once a while I go searching all over the net for a quick military donation and always come up pissed that there is noting to do as a quick coupe hundred dollars donation. I see that nice bearded guy with beret (forgot his name) that does military items collections, and even followed him on Facebook to see if he had a link or a website? ... nothing! It feels like I have to call people across the world to find a site to donate to our military.

I don't think any military has a shopping list type of needs put out on the Internet but something like this https://www.supportourtroops.org/ would be a good idea to send care packages, help military families, help disabled/wounded etc.
