Re: Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
War would be unlikely but a last resort. We would have to wait for that rotten building the Turks call a nation to fall. Their society is as unsteady as Michael J. Fox. How many coups have they had in the last 100 years? How many borderline civil wars? How many separatist conficts with the Kurds? Its only a matter of time. We could take our lands back in the midst of a Turkish civil war.
Negotiation or be included in a Karabakh peace settlement. (If such a god forsaken thing would ever happen) would be the most likely outcome. However, that starts with official claims to those provinces. Which should have been done the second Turkey set up that blockade.
Bosphorus access is another whole story. The foremost goal of having a shore is access to allies such as Russia and the rest of the Black Sea nations.
