Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
It must be tiring to be so paranoid all the time. Fact: Armenia is not going anywhere.
Another Fact: Borders of countries change during course of time, and war is the only way we are going to liberate more land, which we really need wether we like it or not.
It's not a matter of being paranoid. We have to realize, it is not going to end with the next war (of which the outcome is still not clear). Their long-term goal is the destruction of the Armenian state. We should do everything we can for example to stir up hostilities between Turks and Kurds, and between Iranians and Azeris.

I really like the way u think and every single post u provide is a good piece of information.

Exactly, why chip away at the map when you can take chunks out at once without doing any work except exploiting other rivalries.

Re: Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
"We agreed to use our unique capabilities and the breadth of those capabilities at the front of this process, and then we expected in a matter of days to be able to turn over the primary responsibility to others," U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Sunday.
We should examine this statement about the Libya operation because what technology the U.S.A. has, Israel may have, and what technology Israel has, the turks may rent or buy.
The U.S.A. and the U.K. have made public an attack on Libyan fixed SAM sites with cruise missiles. NATO must also be using anti-radar missiles (HARM, ALARM, and ARMAT) similar to the Russian Kh-25 and Kh-58.
The U.S.A. has additional methods that have recently been revealed in connection with the Israeli attack on the Syrian nuclear project.
Two paragraphs from a Wikipedia article:
Suter is a military computer program developed by BAE Systems that attacks
computer networks and communications systems belonging to an enemy...
U.S. Air Force officials think that something like Suter was used by the Israeli
Air Force to attack Syrian radar and sneak into their airspace in Operation
Orchard on September 6, 2007 ....because the F-15s and F-16s used by the IAF
did not have stealth technology.
So, while I doubt that the turks will ever get cruise missiles, they can certainly use long-range rocket systems to similar effect. Whether they could buy Kh-25 missiles is unknown. There is a chance that the turks might rent Israeli technicians and systems that have Suter-like abilities.
Russia was aware of NATO anti-SAM abilities as far back as the 1960s and gave the Socialist Republic of Vietnam S-75s that had a passive home-on-jammer system. Since then, most Russian systems are made in active versions (using radar) and passive versions (tracking radar or radio frequency broadcasts or using video or infared homing methods).
For example the Strela 10 has two upgrades to replace the use of radar:
Old active systems can be upgraded to be useful again. New digital systems will be less likely to be familiar to people creating counter-measures. One of the surprises for the Russians in Ossetia was that the Georgians had got upgrades for their S-75 Dvinas from Belarus that made them useful. The S-75M3 Volga-2 upgrade package could be combined with new mobile tracked launchers made from old tanks. Upgrades also exist for the S-125, 9K33, and ZSU-23-4.

S300P/S300V wont survive against 100 cruise missles. S400 is another story. Best way to counter attack against cruise missles, is take out their launchers in the first place, but that's easier to say than do of course.

It has been recently unveiled that SSM, Turkey’s Undersecretariat for Defence Industries, has awarded TUBITAK-SAGE a major contract for the development of Turkey’s first medium range high precision cruise missile program.
TUBITAK-SAGE has been working on the new-generation indigenous cruise missile since 2006, TRDEFENCE sources reported on Thursday. This new crusine missile, name still unknown, is now nearing the end of its development stage and is expected to make its initial debut in Turkey’s largest defence and aerospace fair IDEF 2011, taking place between May 10 and 13.
The cruise missile is designed for air-lunch from Turkey’s upgraded F-4 2020 Terminator aircraft and have a range of over 150 kilometers. Guidance will be provided by GPS and on-board INS, while terminal-stage homing will be accomplished with an advanced Aselsan-built infrared imaging kit for increased precision.
Roketsan is known to be manufacturing the engine assembly in cooperation with TEI, a number of actuators, as well as the warhead of the missile.
Turkey's new cruise missile developed by TUBITAK-SAGE is air-launched and can attack targets in a range of over 150 kilometers.
