The heavy weapons we buy from Russia, would you know if we buy new or ex-service equipment,
such as 3-5 years old etc?

In a world of very few countries that buy new weapons. For example: Canada buys old tanks "Leopard" from Switzerland and the Netherlands, Poland from Germany, Singapore from Germany, Brazil from Belgium and Germany, Portugal from Netherlands, , Greece from Germany, etc. ..

Though I think we should sign some contracts with high end Western weapon suppliers, always good to have some of their technology and capabilities as well...

This is not a modification of ours БРДМ-2. This is a standalone product produced in Russia

Though I think we should sign some contracts with high end Western weapon suppliers, always good to have some of their technology and capabilities as well...

Two questions to ask if one were serious and in a position to do this. 1) What do they have which we want. 2) Is there are Russian alternative. I think there is a Russian alternative to anything Western military firms sell, the only exception being drones (UAVs), but Russia is set to produce their own sometime this year or next.

This is not a modification of ours БРДМ-2. This is a standalone product produced in Russia

On the basis of the BRDM-2 have no AT-5 missiles, ours has been the format of the Russian.
