Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
From the wreckage I would say our guys shot it down with a ZSU-23-4 or ZSU-23-2
From the wreckage, it just as well could have been shot down by a lucky burst of small-arms fire that hit something vital. All the fragments are close together so it has obviously crashed intact or almost intact and has only broken up upon impact. If it had been blown up in the air the bits would have been widely scattered. The shredded prop blades also indicate it was still flying until it hit the ground.

Really? So now we are faking it? Come on Bell give it up allready. Armenians are not known for their bullsh!t!
You also fail to understand Bell that if you blow off a tail section or a wing the prop could be turning all the way to the ground. Last time the Armenians bullsh!t we tursted the west with your Bull! I don't recall any bullsh!t from us since, maybe we stopped listening to fake f?cks like you!

Come on, calm down.
It is evident, that the NKR army's relevant structures took their time, 24-48 hours, before displaying the wreck.
This place is not the place of impact, but rather a set up, where the high grass is cleared, and some parts of the UAV are collected, on a display mode, and not as it was in reality, just to avoid giving any indication of the means used to shoot the bird , and the origin of the bird.
It goes without saying, that the NKR army is well aware of the origin, since minor components have necessarily some inside inscriptions available,
and for some reason, the NKR army's HQ does not wish to talk about that origin yet.
In the futur, it would be wise, to show less numerous fragments, even none, no matter turkish denials they will have.
The less the enemy has material indicating our defense tactics, the better it will be.
With one major reservation: a drone may see it's killer, as was the case with the Georgian drone on Gali, before the war there.

I agree for the most part, but we can't go around hiding everything every time as that poses it's own dangers. Next time we shoot something down maybe show a hot just of serial numbers or something..LOL
As much as I want to maintain secret stuff I still love seeing this stuff! I think we should show more stuff but with reservations as you stated.

WASHINGTON–The Armenian National Committee of America Wednesday called on the Department of State to look into whether video of the wreckage of an Azerbaijani unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which shows a component built by NovAtel, a Canadian firm with offices in the United States, warrants an investigation into potential violations of U.S. arms export laws.
The UAV was reportedly shot down by Nagorno Karabakh defense forces on September 12th, after it crossed into the Republic’s airspace.
The full text of the ANCA letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is provided below.
Dear Secretary Clinton,
I am writing to formally request that the Department of State to look into whether any evidence in the recently publicly circulated video (see link below) of the wreckage of an Azerbaijani Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), that was reportedly shot down on September 12, 2011 while flying over the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh, is sufficient to trigger an investigation regarding the potential violation of laws governing the sale and use of defense articles.
The video in question can be viewed via the following link, at the 1:37 minute mark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOKcN...layer_embedded. The name and logo of the firm Novatel is clearly visible on a piece of the downed UAV. This firm, which is based in Canada, has an office in the United States, located in Houston, Texas.
As we have shared with you on several previous occasions, we remain profoundly concerned that President Ilham Aliyev and others leaders of Azerbaijan, while pursuing a multi-billion dollar arms build-up, are regularly threatening to use their growing military arsenal to restart their war of aggression against both Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia. The Azerbaijani military, in fact, has, on many occasions, acted upon these threats in the form of cross-border attacks, often with deadly consequences.
It is in this light that we are especially troubled by the prospect that Azerbaijan’s military escalation, threats of violence, and actual aggression may be, directly or indirectly, fueled by U.S. defense articles, in violation of U.S. law and in a manner contrary to the American people’s commitment to a peaceful settlement of conflicts in the Caucasus and around the world.
I want to thank you for your attention to this urgent matter, and also to restate our desire to meet with you personally, as per your invitation of January of 2010, as part of a broad-based consultation with the leadership of the Armenian American community.
Sincerely,
[signed]

The origin of the UAV was confirmed to be an Israeli Hermes.
