      From My point of view.

Since 1991 Russians never send back their military equipments back to Russia either new or old weapons..all remains to Armenia..So what I'm trying to say is that when Azerbaijan bought F-16, then soon Su-27's will be substituted with Mig-29's => Mig-29's will be given to Armenia.
But there is a fact that neither F-16 nor Su-27 can fly over that Mountainous Land-rocks specially when Nagorno Karabakh's area is only 10,000km square.

exactly, it's a waste of money. Besides, NKR is not gaza exactly where Israel goes in and out without a worry in the world.

The only way to attack with F-16's is to enter from Ganja or Shahumyan from north of NKR and directly turn back to Azerbaijan from east NKR (Martakert or Askeran),BUT thats suicide...

if we gonna take 18 Mig-29s it is good but anyway if in dogfight Mig29 will be against F-16 than percent of F16 is much more, F16=Su27 btw its right, armenia is not place for dogfight, that f16 are aginst Iran or baboons have no brain

Turkey to Sell F 16 Fighter Jets to Azerbaijan

                http://asbarez.com/35353/turkey-to-s...to-azerbaijan/

ANKARA (Azg)–Azerbaijan plans to buy locally produced (with a US license) F-16 fighter jets from Turkey–reported commander of the Air Force of Azerbaijan Rail Rizayev.

It is expected that Turkey seek permission of the US and NATO for the sale. A high ranking politician in Turkey said "if we sell F-16s to Egypt–why can’t we sell them to Azerbaijan."

Turkey has already produced 200 such jets–and sold 46 to Egypt. A total of 286 F-16 fighter jets are scheduled to be produced.
So, Azerbaijan would like to buy F-16s from Turkey but they must still ask permission from the US and NATO for a transfer to Azerbaijan.

Turkey has made several versions of the F-16 and we do not know which version they would be allowed to sell to Azerbaijan, if any:

                http://www.f-16.net/f-16_users_article21.html

What does the F-16 purchase do for the turks?

                1) NATO interoperability. The Azeris can now send F-16s to NATO missions like the war against Libya and be best friends with NATO.

                2) A separate chain of resupply. Turkey (and Israel) can supply equipment to the turks so if Russia ever cuts them off they still have another source of weapons.

                3) New weapons. Russia is well known for only selling less capable versions of its weapons. Maybe Turkey and Israel will sell better weapons if the turks buy an aircraft that can launch them.

                4) Unknown systems. Armenia knows Russian weapons like the MiG-29 very well, but not so much about NATO weapons. Countermeasures are harder to design.

Maybe Turkey will sell only a basic fighter to the Azeris, like the F-16C, and then after the USA approves and the planes are transferred Israel will sell an upgrade package with ground-attack systems. We can hope that friends in the USA or Europe stop this sale.

Azerbaijan has denied they are buying F-16s.

                      .
Turkey is getting F-35s and will decomission their F-16s.......I think they still like their outdated aging F-4 bombers (they got too much invested in them).
The west might not allow Turks to sell to Azerbaijan since stability and open borders is what they seem to want....not inceasing the arms race.

On the bright side if this does happen then Armenia will get air superiorty fighters of her own......Wings over Armenia.
Also, a Turkish F-16 (flown by a baboon to top it off) is no match against an Iranian F-14.
