Bullsh*t article. The reason that there is not progress is BECAUSE of OSCE Minsk. They are under the impression that there is a duality in this conflict, that both sides are responsible. Everytime Azeris shell Armenian villages, OSCE says, "We call for restraint on both sides and for both sides to avoid breaking ceasefire." What a load of sh*t. Azerbaijan is the only one breaking the rules, and as long as OSCE continues this impartial policy, Azerbaijan has no incentive to change its behavior.

Also, the outcome of the the war is flawed. First (and I'm not sure about this one), but Armenian Armed Forces number at around 40k and NKR Defense Army is around 25k. So by some estimates, Armenian Army+NKR Army is larger (unless they are both considered in the 40k number). Besides, considering the fact that Azerbaijan's population more than triples Hayastan's, their armed forces are relatively tiny.

Finally, the article assumes that Russia will not get involved which, based on its military AND energy interests in South Caucasus, is simply not true. Russia would love nothing more than to demolish the BTC and Nabucco pipelines.

You were right, we have damaged asphalt. I am sure funds have been put aside for repairs, its worth it when eyes are on Artsakh.

I think we must declare, once for all, that we have tanks, bmps, etc..., and no need to bring them back in future parades in any cities.
We can show a couple of each on trackers, but that should be enough.

Or else, we should organise next parade in Akna streets...

Ինչպես NEWS.am-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում նշել է ռազմական փորձագետ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը, շքերթում ներկայացվել է ռազմական նոր տեխնիկա: Խոսքը միանգամայն նոր որակի մասին է` հաշվի առնելով, որ նոր սպառազինությունն ունի ոչ միայն պաշտպանողական եւ հակահարձակման բնույթ, այլեւ կարող է օգտագործվել նախազգուշական նպատակներով: Ռազմական փորձագետը նշել է Պաշտպանության բանակի կատարելագործման կարեւորությունը: Խոսելով զորահանդեսում ցուցադրված անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի մասին` Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը նշել է, որ դրանք նախորդ տարվա աշնանը Երեւանում ցուցադրված սարքերը չէին: «Դա վկայում է հայ ռազմարդյունաբերական համալիրի ակտիվ աշխատանքի մասին», - ընդգծել է նա:

Ռազմական փորձագետ Հրաչյա Պետրոսյանի խոսքով` Ստեփանակերտի զորահանդեսն արժանի է ամենաբարձր գնահատականի, հաշվի առնելով նաեւ այն հանգամանքը, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը փոքր հանրապետություն է:

«Իհարկե, չի կարելի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի զորահանդեսը համեմատել, օրինակ Ռուսաստանի նման երկրի հզորության հետ, բայց, հաշվի առնելով նրա չափերը, շքերթի որակն ու ծավալը տպավորիչ են», - նշել է Հրաչյա Պետրոսյանը: Նա հատուկ ընդգծել է ղարաբաղյան մարտիկների դեմքի արտահայտությունը: Ռազմական փորձագետը նաեւ ուշադրություն է դարձրել հայկական անօդաչու թռչող սարքերին`նշելով, որ դրանք տարբերվել են Երեւանում ցուցադրվածներից:

«Դա, ինչպես նաեւ ժամանակակից հրթիռային սպառազինության ցուցադրումը շատ բանի մասին է վկայում», - նշել է Հրաչյա Պետրոսյանը` հավելելով, որ 21-րդ դարի պատերազմները հրթիռային եւ հրետանային պատերազմներ են, եւ Պաշտպանության բանակը ցույց տվեց, որ իրավիճակի է խոցել թշնամական ցանկացած թիրախ:

Today's parade in Stepanakert devoted to the 20th anniversary of
Shushi's liberation, the establishment of NKR's defense army and the
67th anniversary of the Victory of the Great Patriotic War differed
from the parade organized on the same occasions 5 years ago. The
military equipment had been added`some long-rate artillery equipment,
missile equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles, which, are the improved
variants of the ones shown in the September 21 parade of local
production.

Military expert Artsrun Hovhannisyan also states some structural
differences: `The specialists will immediately notice structural
changes of the defense army in the direction of raising combat
readiness, the alterations of the sub-divisions, etc.. Some
sub-divisions have already become brigades, their combat readiness has
risen, the opportunities have increased'.

The soldiers of the defense army live in a situation of war or, more
correctly, in relative peace, on a short distance from the enemy.

`I am sure that hysteria will rise in Baku in a short time as this was
a serious blow for them. The international experts will give certain
evaluations which will be clear and important for us. I am sure the
assessments will be very high,' Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.

The expert states the defense army doesn't have any unnecessary
division and military equipment, but has all that is necessary for
holding a victory.

`If the whole territory of a state is full of combat trenches and the
people carry out actions proceeding from military situation, there can
be no speech about ostentation,' the expert said.

Unlike Azerbaijan which buys the equipment of the former Soviet Union
countries spending large sums, which is very often not suitable for
use, we showed useful equipment though in a small number. If till now
there was an impression that NKR speaks only from defense positions,
now already, according to the experts, we prove that we can prevent
any kind of attack and retaliate.

`Any territory of the enemy is vulnerable for us. There is no
equipment or a subdivision in the Azerbaijani army which feels it is
not vulnerable while carrying out actions,' the specialist said.

The expert is sure that Azerbaijan will carry out provocative actions
on these days and our fighting capacity is not in the parade but in
defeating the enemy on the border every day.
