Is this UAV compatible with a munitions mayload, or is it strictly for observation/data collection.

If its the latter, then it won't be very useful in a conflict (but nonetheless congratualtions is due to our engineers and defense industry).

IMO, we need to attain air superiority fighters (MiG 29, Su-30) to get the edge. On that note, would Russia object to military cooperation between Armenia and China? I've looked into into, and the Shenyang J-11 is essentially a reverse-engineered Su-27.

          Forget the Chinese junk.
It seems the only way Armenia will ever get air superiority fighter like a Mig-29 is to make it themselves. I gave up

Armenia can hardly afford to "forget the Chinese junk." J-11s are better than nothing.

Neither will Armenia be able to produce MiGs in time for a conflict with Azerbaijan. Unless we find other markets, Armenia will lose the arms race.

apart from the helicopters, it seems to be an airplane, or may be a pair in the back, next to the parliament dome, right side.
              is it so?
what type of airplanes are those ?
              Su 25?
Edo, what's in the air in this photo.
If it were jets, why did they flew during training, and not during parade?

Armenia will get the Mig-29s at erebuni when russians decide they're too old.

You're right arakeretzig, but the MiG-29 is arguably the one of the best fighters in the world right now (even when compared to the F-16 and F-22 on some counts). It will be a long time before they become outdated.

Besides, whether Armenia gets MiGs from Russia is contingent upon whether the Russians believe it is in their best interest. Nabucco and BTC are essentially finished, so I really don't see what Russia's hesitation is in creating conflict.

Russia won't be weaker, but if Armenia has air superiority it will upset the status quo (which apparently is in Russia's best interest.)

Well BTC is up and running, supplying the recipients with ~1 million barrels of oil per day. For Nabucco, I meant that planning is finished. Most likely, it will outcompete Russia's Southern Stream, and Russia is not about to give up its energy dominance.
