Defense Ministry denies reports about more losses of Azerbaijani Army during skirmishes in frontline

      [ 14 Jun 2012 12:36 ]
Baku - APA. Spokesman for the Defense Ministry, Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu commented on the reports in the press about more losses of the Azerbaijani Army in the latest skirmishes in the frontline, APA reports.

The statement underlined that these reports were disinformation: “Information concerning the frontline developments released yesterday by one of the websites in the country caused confusion in the society and press. This article having disinformation character says that as if Azerbaijan lost not 5, but 40 soldiers during the battles in the frontline on June 7-8 and this “fact” is concealed up to now because of some reasons. Where was this information taken from? They didn’t show sources. Can the website say hometown or name of one of “those 35 killed”? Generally, how it is possible to conceal the death of so many soldiers or why can be it concealed? The Defense Ministry informed exactly the society about losses of the Azerbaijani side during the battles in the frontline. That’s why it is inadmissible to confuse the society and information space with unreliable information.

We recommend this website and the other media representatives to be attentive in such sensitive moment, not to play with the feelings of parents of our soldiers serving in the frontline by releasing the incorrect reports and not to gladden the enemy with the false reports”.

PanARMENIAN.Net - After reports of multiple Azeri diversions at the border with Armenia, Artsakh war veterans expressed a wish to replace servicemen at Armenian borders.

As the head of Artsakh Liberation War Veterans Union Hamlet Hovsepyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the veterans are discontented that they haven’t been given a chance to finish what has been started by liberating Shahumyan, Getashen and even Nakhichevan.

“While confident of the strength of Armenian army, all of us are ready to protect our motherland if such a necessity arises,” the head of Artsakh Liberation War Veterans Union said.

Sources say that 21-25 Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in Azeri subversive actions in recent days in Tavush-Ghazakh zone of Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

What heros! Our veterans are real men, real Armenian nationalists! You would never hear about azerbaijani veterans in baku volunteering like this. This is a major factor of why we won in 1988-1994 against what seemed like impossible odds on paper. The Americans got it right when they called it: Armenia has an army, azerbaijan merely armed forces. From Avarayr to Artsakh, the Armenian spirit is as strong as ever!

Azerbaijan to Armenia: Give Our Land Back and Nobody Gets Hurt
                  June 14, 2012 - 12:18pm, by Giorgi Lomsadze
“If Armenia wants its soldiers to stop dying, it should withdraw from Azerbaijani territories,” Amidst a recent, deadly pickup in ceasefire violations, ending the two countries' 24-year conflict over the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh territory is as simple as that for Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

The bloodshed, coinciding with US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's June 4-6 visit to the South Caucasus, has set off a fresh flurry of expressions of concern from world leaders.

“The cycle of violence must stop,” said Ireland’s Foreign Minister Eamon Gilmore at a joint news conference in Baku with his Azerbaijani counterpart. Gilmore, chairperson-in-office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which oversees negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, called on both sides to remove snipers from the line of contact and set up a mechanism for investigating the conflict zone incidents.

Mammadyarov said that frontline snipers will have no targets if Yerevan pulls back its forces. He also expressed Baku’s conditional support for incident-investigation mechanism. “But this will work only if Armenian forces withdraw from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan,” he said. “If the mechanism is put to work now, it would mean consolidating the status quo, which is unacceptable.”

Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian supported the incident-investigation mechanism, but Yerevan is likely to resist Azerbaijani attempts to tie the mechanism to any pullout of forces.

Nalbandian and Mammadyarov will meet in Paris on June 18 for an OSCE-organized round of talks. US State Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton said during her recent Caucasus tour that a new proposal for resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict will be tabled in Paris, but, after years of such promises, her words were met with robust skepticism in both Yerevan and Baku.

A very interesting video about liberation of Lachin. I certainly suggest to watch the whole video.
It was really interesting to watch what kind of miserable situation was on the Azeri side during the battle. They are all crying, they are blame eachother as coward. And i think the most interesting part was how their very famus journalist Chingiz Mustafayev yelling around as -where escaped commanders of this division?-

Well, It's really funny to thinking how now they are talking about taking back -their lands-. especially after wathcing this video.

The armenian man's heart is different from other hearts. It's solely devoted to its nation and history. If there's no nation, there's no heart. It's a matter of life or death, always been for us. For them it's a matter of oil, money and ambition.
