Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The Republic of Armenia's Armed Forces are not involved at this point, just the NKR. Instead, what we've got on our hands here is finishing up once and for all what outside forces stopped back in 1994. If things spiral out of control, Nakhijevan is a legitimate target for liberation.

I get angry too seeing 30/40 losses ... But it's war and it's gonna happen. At least like Mher said our media is telling some truth.
There has been NO reports on death toll since yesterday from azerbaijan

Either recognize Artsakh independence or Annex it already, what is Serj waiting for?

This post cannot exist on an Armenia forum. Dispose it please.
            - If the Azeri offensive was successful, they would have reached Stepanakert already. It's a total mess, but it will cause damage and there will be losses for sure.
            - We have a pool of strategic targets that we can target whenever it is needed.

Why do you say this? Are you so panickeur or plain idiot? Do you have any news that we don't?
If you talk this xxxx because casualty numbers are going up then I'll tell you that it only indicates intensity of clashes. Nothing tells you about situational controll.
People have been mixing here Azeri propaganda and your kind takes the bait.
In 1988-94 war several times Azeris smashed the front line but later ending up bleeding so bad and retreating.
Whatever is happening is just start. No one knows how long or big this can drag.
Our military may as well retreat by nesessity. Even that does not mean loosing controll.
So people, hush up and keep reading the news.

I respect all of u here and respect ur military minds. But it's apparent that most of u (luckily) has not seen any war in his life. I live in lebanon and have seen 3. Some of u talk as if this is a counterstrike game! This is war! In wars, people die! What the Karabakh army is doing on the frontline is the equivalent of military miracle. A small number of troops stopping a blitz that has been prepared for months! And what do the azeris have to show for it? They havent shown anything but self made maps! Where are the footage? The journalists? Where are the reports from the "liberated" villages?? There are none!! Just some fb accounts claiming that this or that has happened!

If u think wars can be won without casualties i think u should go and sit in front of ur "medal of honor" game and keep killing 1000 enemy units with 14 different types of weapons randomly picked up from the ground and end the game by restarting each time u die!

Our boys have stopped a preplanned military blitz by an army that outnumbers them 5 to 1, which by the way has thrown everything in its arsenal (except ballistic missiles) with no considerable losses of land. We lost 8 posts, by tonight we regained 3!

What the hell are you expecting? It took us 6 years to liberate karabakh. Some of u are expecting we're gonna enter baku by the end of the week!

Very good point. It may get worse for awhile. NKR forces will have to absorb, reinforce positions, hold out and counter where able, etc. You can also expect reinforcements from Armenia soon.

At some point the Azeris will launch artillery strikes at Stepanakert and perhaps at southern Armenia from Nakhichevan. They will probably also launch arial attacks. These will occur when the Azeri offensive breaks down. They are throwing everything the have at the NKR on multiple fronts. NKR has seen worse in the summer of 1992.
