You did this treaty with Turkish Republic in 1920 and legally invalidated treaty of Sevres.

After Turkish Independence War (with Turkish Victory) England,Greece,Italy and France also invalidated treaty of Sevres by doing new treaty which was Treaty of Lausanne ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Lausanne )

So Treaty of Sevres is invalid this mainly blocks improvement of Turk-Armenian relation... This is more important problem than recognizing genocide.
Well I could bring a 1000 arguments why Alexandrople treaty is invalid and Severes treaty is valid but if you are talking of improvement of relations between 2 people (turks and Armenians) than the treaties do not matter. Armenians will look at turks as at human being just after they (turks) will show a minimum of humanity by acknowledging the horrible crime of the past. Than we can talk about treaties.

I doubt that matters, since Turkey broke all agreements in the first place through the Armenian Genocide.

Well yes of course it is wrong: all Karabakh movement was founded on principle of "miatsum" and current status of Karabakh as "independent state" is just dictated by political conjuncture. The Karabakh will become the part of Armenia the moment azeris will give up, and they will sooner or later.
