I just put this together real quick……..this may need to be worded better and/or modified (political correctness) by our intellectuals (?) university professors or whoever.
Anybody knows how to start a serious online petition?? I am an idiot when it comes to computer stuff.
To the Government of the Republic of Armenia:
We the Armenian people have started this petition to bring to your attention of our great concerns in regards to recent events on boarder opening with Turkey and the consequence agreements and commitments either agreed and signed by you or pressured upon you by other States. Even though we feel that certain steps are necessary to bring conciliation between us and Turkey we strongly protest against any concessions to the following:
1- Avoiding statements or international actions relating to genocide recognition and agreements by you on a joint study by scholars from Turkey and Armenia, backed by United States, Russia and the European Union and its Member States on an issue that is already a proven fact but not recognized by certain states due to political reasons.
2- Withdrawals from any Buffer Zones under Armenian forces by OSCE Minsk Group basic principles on a Nagorno-Karabakh settlement before reaching a complete and unequivocal territorial agreements and a signed peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
3- Recognition of Turkey’s territorial integrity within the borders laid out in the 1921 Treaty of Kars and nullifying the Treaty of Sevres.
We are ready to move forward with our Turkish counterparts but by no means are we willing to concede any of these rights. We trust that our Government in Armenia represents not only the well being of the State but also the well being and the prosperous future of all Armenians including the large Diasporan population scattered around the world.
Thank you.
