Non-recognition in fact works to get the word out to a wider audience, and they all get the same message: GENOCIDE.

That is all right. But every time it passes Congress it is a spit in the face of the turks. I personaly enjoy it.

- Bush blocked the resolution to go forward in 2007.
- Obama promised to adopt the word "Genocide" during his election campain. What a lier.
- Now the "Blonde Condoleezza" was quick enough to reveal the intentions of the administration.

Don't fool yourselves. The USA has not intention of recognizing the Genocide. We are not their allies, the Turks are.

Turkish MP calls to admit Armenian genocide and apologize to Armenia

15:04 / 03/08/2010Turkey should recognize Armenian Genocide and apologize to Armenia, said Turkish MP from Bitlis, Kurdish Peace and Democracy party member Mehmed Nezir Karabas commenting on Armenian Genocide resolution adoption by U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

According to Haber27, Karabas stated that Turkey has never discussed and admit what happened in the beginning of last century. He maintained that we should be ashamed of having U.S. and Europe parliaments discuss this issue before April 24, instead of Turkey.

March 4, U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs approved H.Res.252 on Armenian Genocide.

There is no nation on this planet that can truly call itself a human rights defender, every nation has some nasty side to it; just some nations are definitely better. Europe is worse than American in lots of ways, the UK allows Shari-ah law; and all the EU states are catering more and more to Islamic Fundamentalists. So far unlike Europe the US is yet to pass anti-blasphemy laws and restrict religious freedom. The greatest threat these days is anti-terrorist legislation and religion (in particular Fundamentalist religion). I get worried certainly, we could possibly see a repeat of the Serbian/Kosovo war but his time across the whole of Europe.

America is loosing its face worldwide as a superpower, human rights defender and the land of prosperity.

I thought America was an empire sticking their noses on the internal affairs of other countries only thinking about their interests, a hypocrite state no. 1 terrorist nation on the world and no. 1 human rights offender and violator, racist xenophobic by excellence in the world. Hmmm...

Just pay attention that in the foreign relations committee all the members in their speeches recognized AG as a historical truth but regardless the fact about half of them openly declared that recognizing the fact is not profitable for the United States.

Eventually unveiling nowadays USA real face world wide. Thus Hillary Clinton on behalf of America declared that when they judge a criminal: the sentence will depend on profitability of the court decision to USA and if it is not, the victim will be sentenced, instead. Truth doesn't matter much.

It's the American way, say one thing and do the other.
