this is how much the USA cares. The vote has been delayed because some of the members are voting on a unanimous bill to congratulate the New Orleans Saints for winning the Superbowl
the vote is also unfair, there are congressmen and women from the same states that voted no that would have voted yes, but they aren't on the committee to do so

Who cares? What does it do for Armenians if the U.S recognizes it? Nothing. Even talking about it is a waste of resources, of which we have VERY little.
Recognition would be a start in the right direction but i agree that our resources should be put to better use in strengthening our country and building bridges between it and the diaspora. No one will give us justice-we have to earn it.
Obama Administration Urges Congress to Wait on Armenian Genocide Resolution

The Obama administration is urging Congress to hold off on a resolution declaring the Ottoman era killing of Armenians as genocide.
WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration is urging Congress to hold off on a resolution declaring the Ottoman era killing of Armenians as genocide.
The House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee was scheduled to vote on the resolution Thursday, and appeared likely to endorse it.
But White House spokesman Mike Hammer said Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton had spoken with the committee's chairman, Democratic Rep. Howard Berman, on Wednesday and indicated that such a vote would jeopardize reconciliation talks between Turkey and Armenia.
The move breaks a campaign promise by President Obama to brand the killings genocide.
Turkey, a NATO ally with a pivotal role for U.S. interests in the Middle East and Afghanistan, has warned the resolution could jeopardize U.S-Turkish cooperation and set back negotiations aimed at opening the border between Turkey and Armenia.
the countries who support turkey must recognize it.when the previous president of iran khamenei Recognized the Armenian genocide and mourned in the memorial.Turket get a devastating punch.if germany and other countries who support turkey recognize it it will affect.USA cannot even suck **** in the area cause all places are neither under influence of russia or USA.and middle east is russia's

Well, it seems that there is another attempt to recognize the Genocide in America, but of course the pro-Turkish politicians and companies which are a majority in US are doing everything to stop it.
When one comes to think about it, the US is actually very anti-Armenian. If there wasn't that very large Armenian diaspora, US would not even care about Armenia and help Azeri/Turkish countries only. The Turkish/Azeri diaspora in US is very small compared to the Armenian one and still US is much larger supporter of them.
The anti-Armenian activities is also done by the very powerful xxxish lobby which pretty much controls what US does. And since Israel and Turkey love each other the xxxs do everything to harm us. I think the real enemy is apparent and that is the US-Israel-Turkey alliance that has been pressuring and doing anti-Armenian activities for years.
I for one have lost all hope for US and for a long time because of this never supported US, because of how US supports Turkey and kisses its ass. And the same way US will never pass Armenian Genocide recognition, doesn't matter what we do.
The only genocide the US Congress should be discussing is the genocide of the American Indians. According to Ward Churchill, a professor of ethnic studies at the University of Colorado,
the reduction of the North American Indian population from an estimated 12 million in 1500 to barely 237,000 in 1900 represents a "vast genocide . . . , the most sustained on record."
I doubt if there's even a single politican (of non-Armenian origin) in the US that is sincere about the AG. Shameless vote buying and fund raising is the name of the game.
