Who from young generation does not love the country. They even know who Vardan Mamikonjan or Sasuntsi David. So hope for the best (as the people which hoped have disappeared).

I do all that in my forces. But also I need to live. So soon I will leave Armenia and for ever. And you here can continue your conversations senseless. And I will leave Armenia to remain the Armenian both on the nation and on consciousness. It is better to help people out of Armenia to remain the Armenian than it to do in Armenia. I think you are a prime example of degradation of Armenians in Armenia. Leave and good riddance so your ideas don't propagate to the younger generations that actually love their country.

Everything that you just mentioned has nothing to do with government. They are all products of the capitalist system(which i myself am not to fond of). Armenia is new to capitalism and will meet many bumps along the road. Perhaps the best thing for Armenia would be a grass roots movement as far as instilling a national identity goes but then again it matters which version you choose there to. Government does not teach values to the childeren-that is the parents job.

By spreading of narcissism, I think Haykakan is referring the overwhelming influence of Judaism in the world. It's only natural seeing that Judaism plays a huge role in defining secular western ethics and civil law.

Armenians do have a national conciusness but they are not immune to the spreading nearcisism engulfing the world today. There are plenty of good things going on in Armenia and lots of good reasons why we should all take part in them. If you choose to only see and dwell on the bad things then go right ahead but i am not going in that boat.

All that occurs in Armenia it is possible to name in a word degradation. Degradation of the nation, the population, a society, the state, and also diaspora. Most likely if nothing we shortly change Armenians museum pieces. Because in race behind another's values we lose that that at us is and has got to us from our grandfathers.
I have understood one. What is that what even it is written here simply words and all to spit. Armenians cannot have a national consciousness.
