Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

But you and the foreign-funded publications in Armenia are choosing to be the slaves of much worse masters than the Russians!
You want to be slaves of the powers that did nothing to stop Kemal when he was outside Yerevan, and the same powers that never condemned Sumgait, and never condemned the invasion of Karabakh, never condemned the Turkish blockade, the same powers that invested billions in to Azerbaijan, the same powers that will never Turkey to get out of Cyprus

Britain backstabbing Greece just before the battle of Sakaria by cutting ammunition supplies and refusing to continue using British ships carrying them between Greek and Turkish ports? While 2 years before Lloyd George had promised Greeks an unconditional support in war and territories?

You want to kick Russia till to Volgograd? Do it. With what? With whose help? Wests? Nato's

    Rusdiphile you say...
Yes definitely ! He is relying on NATO
Anyone who supports the Russian base in Armenia is now a Russophile. This is the slogan of anti-Russia campaigners like Pashinyan, Muradyan
The Greek front collapsed against Kemal when Greece's British "aalies" stop lending money to the Greek side. France was already campaigning for kemal
It was British, French, Italian, American warships (not Russian warships) just outside Izmir (Smyrna) that stood by with orders not to intervene while Kemal was slaughtering tens of thousands of the city's Christians right in front of their eyes in 1922

Is that the only point you can make? Yes they are, but tell us the %. How many times more are US and EU funded publications ?

How is Armenia buying weapons without Russian loans? You are complaining about that?

              Let's try versus.
So you support suppression of Armenian language and return of russian language as official one?

I don't believe that west is ever or will isolate turkey. Even with 50% isolation turkey can finish us off. Why? Because as the history has shown nobody in the west has done anything during numerous genocidial or ethnic cleansing campignes that Turks did. How many times in past 100-150 years? Against us, Greeks, Assyrians, alawites, Kurds. 20-50 times? And isn't it enough to show a pattern of euro/Turkish relations?
So the constant theme of US/Europe isolation or anti Turkish actions ever happening is a big BS spreading by mouradian and his cohorts. My frustration is, that it is a big hit balloon that is very damaging for our people as a thing that is repeated over and over can eventually be believed and trusted as truth and relied upon.
Any meaningful action by NATO, leading to Armenia's sustained independence and solving issues with turkey/Azerbaijan a balloon full of BS.
So what's left? What is this moron mouradian writing about in his lengthy articles? Blaming our government of loosing "opporunities" "chances" etc... Is outmost BS and propaganda. For what? Whom?
Event if Russia was the savior of Turks for 500 years, and Europe and US the biggest enemies with Turks, it would be the biggest mistake for tiny Armenia to let itself fall in the middle of Russia/west conflict. Turks would still finish us off if Russians agreed with them or cooperated together.
So any talk about west is big bs for us.
Second, are the Russians and Turks cooperating together? Are they allied in any way about Ukraine, Crimea, Syria, ISIS, Georgia, Chechnya, gas oil lines in Caucasus, Russia's problems with NATO and west?
                Are we blind?
So what makes anybody think that they will cooperate about Artsakh? Just so we loose it? What will Russia gain? Or let me put it this way, if Russia gains anything, then what? Are the Russians so shortsighted? Will helping Turks get Artsakh make Russia an ally with Turks?
                Everything is so clear.
                Cut the crap Vrej...

This is a typical slave mentality, and it is our fault.

Just like our brother Mher say's <<եթե զենք ել չլինի' ես քարերով կկրվեմ>> This is typical Patriot mentality

So, thinking about possiblility without bs'es, and criticizing adventurism and harmful and empty idealism coupled with falcifull propaganda is slave mentality?
How many paper tigers are here... You guys that have no idea what is slave mentality and never even shook finger in reality for Armenia, pretending to be free?
Or fighting with stones is a free mindedness for you? For me it is a stupidity.
To be ready to use even a stone when nothing is there, good. But letting it happen because of shortsigtedness is wrong.
Your type has let the real propagandists lead you from your noses too many times by playing with fears and some false convictions.
100 years ago communists were calling slave minded to whoever did not agree in destroying anything that they considered burjua or capitalist(all the values).
Now you guys shake your heads in agreement to any crap that apparatchiks are dropping on media, thinking that you are chasing the shadow of slave mindedness.
Who are you guys to play with existence of our people because you convinced yourself that you are feeing the slaves? Who are you that reserve yourself the right to call the ones who don't agree slaves?
How many Enger Panjunee's are running around here?

Good posts there Hakob! Slave mentality should never be confused with rational pragmatism. Only by making rational decisions based on the best information available can we feel good about ourselves and our future.
