By Leith Fadel - 05/12/2016
BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:30 P.M.) - A second Russian aircraft has reportedly crashed in the Mediterranean Sea after attempting to land on the Admiral Kuznetsov near the Syrian coast.
According to local reports, a Russian Su-33 fighter jet was preparing to land on the Admiral Kuznetsov - an aircraft carrier - when technical difficulties forced the pilot to abandon the aircraft on Monday.
No further details were released at this time.
The Russian Air Force has now lost three warplanes since the Admiral Kuznetsov first arrived near the Syrian coast.

PS: According other sources, apparently the cable supposed to stop the landing aircraft broke.
