Have you been to Shushi? Did you happen to notice that EVERY SINGLE BUILDING IS DESTROYED? The hospital, the school, the museum, everything. The mosque is just one damaged building out of thousands and thousands.

Never said the armenian government is perfect, and that change isn't needed....but I'd take it anyday over the "communist democracy".

At the very least, people are at least allowed to voice their discontent with the current government. I'd like to see what Aram Sargsian and Stepan Demirchian would be doing back in the communist days. As soon as some freedom of speech was allowed in the USSR, what happened? It collapsed.


Oh, and who controls Armenia? The rich. It's unfortunate, but it's the reality as of right now. Who controlled the USSR? The workers right? Unless they were too busy being exiled to Siberia...

Ever heard of the Ukranian farmers that were against collectivisation? What happened to them? If they weren't exiled, they died because of an artificial famine. About 5 million deaths were caused there. Yeah, the CP really DID care about the working class.

"These demonstations concerned material situations, ie economy, and for the most part were not ideological. The same case was in the DDR, the people wanted unification, not capitalism

-Did you know the capitalist class who owned the land burnt the wheat which caused the famine?
-The problem was the peasants themselves should have taken the land over, not the army. This was the problem with Stalins opportunist line, where he at one point lent on support of these rich land owners, and then attacked them, no principles.
