I like boards that discuss current events and possible outcomes of actions... then we reflect on who was right. I do not know much about the press in Armenia, but was reading how many Iraqis had started returning tio there homes.

Is there much poverty in Armenia???

I am trying to collect as much knowledge as possible... build a picture. Oh, heard today that Iran had a agreed to pump gas to South Armenia. Finished by 2006... cool.

Cool if it happens, but Bush and Blair (our wonderful heroes) have their eyes fixed on Iran next, and after they decimate that country in the name of "liberty," there won't be a pipeline, and one less ally for Armenia... you know, sometimes I think we're idiots for not just giving up now. Why the hell do we keep trying? whatever, it's too late and I'm too tired to get into this now...

as for poverty, everybody's got their own number.. but roughly 40% of the country lives at the poverty level.

No probs mate... They wont go to Iran next, Iran not caused any probs... Blair was the only world leader that took up Gadaffi's invite to see libya... Blair has a decent understanding with the rest. They have said the Israel/Palestine is next. I'm sure troops are needed there, but it also winds me up that world organisations overlook sudan to. Again, if we don't film it we don't know.

"...their own number" how do you mean???....

I'm sure Dants and Anon could do a better job of this than me, I'll leave it to them.

Good. Then do not assume sir that you are 100% right about all things 100% of the time. My suggestions are open for debate. Not up for your personal translation of events you have no idea about.

              Consider that a slap.

I will leave this particular thread for Pyunik to handle, since we agree on this one, and he is doing a mighty good job.

Obi, all I have to say is that the Christian thing is pure bull, and no true Christian would ever go to war (this is why I'm not a Christian anymore, you're all hypocrits).

And what of the 20 000 Armenians living in Irak right now?

But you still wear a cross you said

I'm what I like to call a philosophical Christian. Is there an invisible man living in the sky? I don't know... and I don't care, I think some of those ideas in that dusty old book make sense and I'll follow them as long as they do.

I wear a miniature cross stone, which is a reproduction of a Khachkar in Noratuz. It's more for the cultural value, really.

And in my theory, I can listen to certain things preached by Christianity...heck, I might even believe THE WHOLE THING (which I don't), and I still wouldn't want to be associated with the religion.
