Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Armenia does have a corruption problem. Armenia does have a crime problem.

Armenia is an oligarchy, this oligarch does not sponsor any activities that does not concern them...they can not be like the Medicci or American oligarchs. They build churches and run them as business'.

Serious problems in Armenia, and unless you visit, you wont notice it. For instance, the road from the Airport to Yerevan is full of Casinos...CASINOs called little vegas and are themed after thsoe in Vegas...

My contribution? I choose not to advertise it. I contribute what I contribute because I want to, not because I want others to know that I contribute.

If by finding things out, you mean asking the opinions of some random person on the internet...I guess you're more easily satisfied..
Errrn, yes, some random person that would also be dead if she spoke what she knew of Armenian corruption and mafia, she was a top reporter. In a few weeks i have found ot things you will never know...lol... you make me laugh. Talk about naive.

      Your contribution ???

Don't make me laugh boy, your contribution is to come to forums like this and try and use what you believe to be intelligence to rubbish ideas on ACTUAL ways of helping Arnenia... Read the thread title, do i see one possible sollution, any contribution from you??? Not really.
A grand name you give yourself, "Baron"... A title that says what you are. You think yourself better than the rest. Or would you now care to go over the 5 paradigms of psychology to???

I say you are full of a make belief Armenia, and you think it is just how you believe it should be,...

God you do not have a clue...

Baron means "mister" in Armenia. Go over an Armenian dictionary before you go over any paradigms.

Fine...that is my contribution. I come to these forums and pretend I'm intelligent. I've neither done nor given anything else in my life. You got me there...*sigh*

Search one of my past threads that discuss of possible ways of getting rid of corruption. Just because I didn't find you worthy of an answer doesn't mean I have nothing to say.

No need, when someone is stupid enough to typecaste someone from day one and tekk them what they think, tell then what they do wrong without asking... welll that makes you pretty dumb. Nice word play with the Baron title, but these are english speaking boards, and thus read as such... *...sigh...*

And now i am not worthy... sniff, i might shed a tear >:_)
If i am not worthy, why are your words here???

          *sigh*

I will make you a deal mr dants, *english spelling for english boards...
When i am living in Armenia and helping the poverty stricken i shall come and tell you how it really is..... and to others reading this,,, He will still say i am wrong.

I detest people like you, you believe you are always right... so sad.

I think you have issues. You draw conclusions based on nothing, and your conclusions aren't much either. How old were you again?

These are english speaking boards for a predominately Armenian group. Do you know what Dants means, by the way? It means pear. Yes, Mister Pear...wow, I really have quite the ego problem, don't I?

When have I said that things aren't bad? Or that things don't need improvement? Or that there is no poverty? Or that there is no corruption? Hell, I even told you in a PM that I plan to spend my life fighting corruption. So once again, what is your point?

You guys should stop arguing with Obi. He has never been there and (like SOOOO MANY OF YOU) is simply looking up at sites and what not. Let him go see it, make up his own opinions, bring them to this board, and chat. All you are doing is making eachother mad. Relax, it is his opinion, and that is your opinion.

What is his opinion exactly? I haven't figured that part out yet...

My points are laid out dude, to you, the clueless. Issues. Yes, well you would know all about those.
You do not have an ego problem, you are an ego.... All front and nothing to back up what you say....

He believes that Armenia is in a very poor situation and needs a lot of European aid and European noggin to lift itself from the mess. I say let him experiment with it, it is his money, and it is his dream. A man and his dream, I would hate to be the one standing in his way...I gave him some advice i picked up listening to others...he knows what he is getting into.

Well, we have all learned a valuable lesson.

Be like Obi, and truly find out more about a topic before discussing it.

*reminisces about obi's greatest moments, such as the omission of Azerbaidjan when discussing the military, the constant encouragements to promote our number 1 touristic attraction, Ararat...*

Yes, we have a lot to learn from him.
