Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Without the sovjet Union, there wouldn't be an Armenian Republic.
I know that the communists gave armenian lands to our enemies, they also protected the armenian people against the turks.
Because without their protection, Armenia would have been conquered
by the Turks.
Not because they're so great fighters, but like vermin, they just keep coming and there ain't enough ammo to shoot them all.

Hmm well lets see.
The light brown was Armenia at 1920.All the rest were territories that the Dashnaks gave in the Treaty of Alexandropol. It is by far the biggest treachery that the Dashnaks have done to Armenia. They gave the Grey areas to the Turks in order to fight against the Armenian Bolsheviks(their countrymen). If they didn't signed that treaty Turkey the Red Army and consequently the Armenian Partizans would the right to attack against the Turks and drive them until Van.Because they were still officialy considered Armenian territories according to the Treaty of Sevres.
As i was saying the light brown was Armenia at 1920.The rest territories were given to us by the Soviet Union. They didn't had to give them because we have already had lost them in battlefield, but they gave them to us.Without Soviet Union Armenia would be that light brown and Armenia would be a village.Because a village it was before Soviet Union.Everything valuable that is left today in Armenia was constructed during Soviet Union. Moreover Armenia wouldnt exist without Soviet Union.
Armenia at 1931 after the territorial adjustments given by the Soviet Union.
Conclusion: Armenia is the proof that Capitalism is a failed system. All you have to do is to compare Armenia during the Soviet Union to today's Armenia and the difference is shocking.Just ask an Armenian worker when his life conditions were better. Then or now.

Precisely why the Soviet Union collapsed and capitalism triumphed, and why China is gradually adopting free market measures and economically rising. But it's okay, we don't expect to see you commies take your head out of your ideological anus anyway.Achkerov kute.

The reasons that the Soviet Union collapsed are both too complicated and long to be analysed. In my personal opinion Soviet Union has been built in the wrong foundations.
Soviet Union was a Stalinist state in which the 1st generation of Human Rights, which were won after the bourgeois French Revolution, were non existant. On the other hand the 2nd Generation of Human Rights, result of the Russian Revolution, were enjoyed by all the workers, something which never took place in the Capitalist countries.
Neverthless even in that Stalinist State the condition of the Armenian workers was by far better than the condition of the workers today, in the rotten Capitalist System which has infested Armenia.

I want to start by apologizing for my possible english mistakes.
Thank U for understanding .
I myself am not a communist, but I will always defend the Sovjet Union against people that talk bad about it.
Sovjet Union was not "the Empire of Evil", I admit that it wasn't a saint regime, but we have a lot thank them. Sovjet Union brought the sovjet people to the 20th century, it thought them, it educated them.
The people leaved well in the 60's,70's and begin 80's.
And it would even last for longer if it wasn't for the "blockadde" of the capitalistic world. They were so aggressive to this new ideology, they putted so much pressure on it, that it hadn't a space to breath for a second.
So of course Sovjet Union had to be an aggressive regime, because only a an aggressive and a military regime could resist those pressures.
That also explains the rise of Stalin, because only a ruthless person as himself could defend Sovjet Union against strange forces. Only a man like him could win the war. We all know that he was an evil and ruthless person, but he was very much needed at that time.
