Committing suicide is more honorable than selling out your people. The Armenian government does have leverage if it chose to use its current position and the diaspora to push its agenda through the churches and armenian communities around the world. Instead they'd rather just give in to higher powers, accept some money from Swiss bank accounts, sign some documents and call it a day.

O yeh hmm lets see so you suggest that we make no compromises, agreements, documents.... but instead go jump off a cliff like the lemmings? I tell you what you go first and um, like i will be right behind you, yeh thats it. I think your statement accurately reflects a basic problem many in the diaspora have and that is they place more value on the "agenda" then on their own nation and people.

You just keep proving my point. All you do is name calling and you never present a rational argument. There are pages of responces where you lose you cool and just aimlessly insult people. Standing your ground and jumping off a cliff aren't the same thing. Standing at the edge of a cliff for a century and then deciding to jump anyways is the way I see the current proposal.

I suggest we make a new Protocol:

1. Armenia demand to open borders with Turkey so Armenia can become a rightful province of Great Turkish Republic.

2. Armenia will join EU as a part of unified Turkey.

3. Armenia recognize atrocities committed by Armenians against innocent Turks as a Genocide. And agrees to creation of comission for investigating this atrocities.

4. Any mass murder committed by not Armenian side in future or past cannot be considered as Genocide.

etc...etc..etc

at least honest...
