You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)

- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

      The one where Turks are demanding an apology from Armenians is still up though, what a surprise.

        Implosion soon?
        ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Turkish MP Urges Parliament to Apologize to Armenians

        ISTANBUL (Marmara)--A Turkish parliament member's request Sunday that the legislature apologize to Armenians for the “events of 1915” has caused an uproar in parliament, with members hurling personal insults at one another.

        Democratic Society Party (DTP) member Osman Euzcelik brought the matter up during parliament's discussion of the education ministry budget and went on to recall the Armenian massacres by using the Kurdish word that describes Genocide.

        He also said that he had heard stories about the Armenian killings as child growing up in Turkey and added that the killings were planned by the sultan of the Ottoman Empire and were carried out by groups called Hamiddiye, which also had Kurdish members.

        Euzcelik likened the campaign to kill Armenians to the current campaign waged against the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

        “These groups killed a large number of Armenians. A lot of times they would line up the Armenians and shoot them in the chest. All Armenians of Martin were killed and some fled to Syria,” said Euzcelik, who added that his grandfather's family provided refuge for Genocide survivors.

        Nevzad Pakdil, who was presiding over the parliament session, interrupted Euzcelik, blasting him for “insulting the society in which you live.”

        Euzcelik said that he was apologizing to Armenians on his own behalf.

        Pakdil intervened again attempting to stifle the parliament member. Members of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) applauded the Pakdil while another DTP member, Surru Saken directed his anger to Paktdil by saying, “Mr. Chairman, you represent the Marash district and you know full well the extent of the tragedy that unfolded there.”

        This comment prompted a member of the AKP to walk toward DTP members and begin screaming at his fellow parliamentarians. Another parliament member intervened to stop what could have become a physical altercation.

        “Should we not talk about the facts? There is not one Assyrian left,” screamed another DTP member during the commotion, which was followed by several DTP members leaving the parliament.

        Earlier in October, DTP leader, Ahmet Turk, denounced the government's policy regarding the Kurdish issue, describing it as “cultural and societal genocide."

        "The policy of denial, assimilation and eradication has affected people. Only the Kurds resisted. They still resist," Turk told demonstrators in the south-eastern city of Diyarbakir on October 22.

        DTP, the country's main Kurdish party, has been under siege by the Turkish government, facing a possible ban by the constitutional court in what is widely recognized as being a politically charged case aimed at decapitating the party.

          • There's something eerie about Turkey selling this kind of equipment to Armenia.

            EDIT: Couldn't they get one from Russia or the U.S or the E.U?

            EDIT 2: Also, I'm confused, what happened to the blockade? Doesn't that cover this stuff? Is this Anti-Serzh Propaganda from Hetq?
            ------------------------------------------------------------------
            Turkish Defense Company to Sell “Crowd-Control” Equipment to Armenia

            Hurriyet reports that Nurol Machinery and Industry Inc., a Turkish firm in the defense business, is preparing to sell vehicle-mounted water cannons to Armenia. “Armenia contacted us. Talks have been going on for some time now,” said Nurol Machinery’s deputy general manager of marketing, Tanju Torun, during a demonstration of the firm’s new six-wheeled armored personnel carrier, named “Ejder” (Dragon) yesterday.

            Torun didn’t say how many vehicles were about to be sold. “I can say the price is reasonable. We are already exporting the vehicles to 10 countries,” Torun said. Vehicle-mounted water cannons are typically used for crowd control.

            Ejder, a domestically designed armored vehicle on wheels that is resistant to tank mines and Improvised Explosive Device, or IEDs, will participate in the bid for the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries, or SSM’s, Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicles Procurement Project, on April 24.

              February 26th , 1992
              Khojaly

              A pregnant woman was lying on the floor and there were 2 Armenian soldiers with a couple of AK-47 (Russian made) rifles . And they started to speak ;

              -Akchik, manch ?.. (A girl or A Boy ? )

              -Akchik... (Girl)

              The Armenian soldier who said " Boy " has gauged the baby out of the pregnant woman's fetus . And his bloody eyes were focused to the hip of the baby .

              -Tun shahetsar, ynger... (You won , Comrade )

              -Yes shahetsapayts ays bubriky inch bes bidigishdana... (I win , but how is this baby going to be feed ? )

              -Mayrigy bedge gishdatsine. (Her mother of course )

              The shorter Armenian stabbed the breasts of the mother and cut them into four pieces .

              -Mayrig yerahayin zizdur. (Feed the baby )

              In another town of Khojaly , Armos were about to play a football game . The bars were the heads of 2 Azeri women , but there was no ball . One of the Armenians has found a bald child and cheered ;

              -Asixn ma/, chimi yev byzdyge, aveg gyndyrnadabidi. Gydyresek... (This one is hairless and small . Cut (his head ) off )

              The head of the child was thorn apart by an axe , and Armenians were crying as victorious .

              Either these two murders were taken place in Khojaly ; and Armenian gangs slaughtered hundreds of people
              in Khojaly . And each of these two evidences were translated from the words of eye-witnesses .
              Turkish newspapers have informed every Turkish citizen about this inhumanity and the World presses also demand for incoming news from Turkish articles .

              New York Times

              Nov. 26th 1992 ;
              Armenian Armed forces , heavily equipped , and 366th Russian Motorize Regiment under the command of Colonel Zarvigarov situated in Hankendi ; attacked to Khojaly . IT was one of the most atrocious massacre of History .

              366th Motorize regiment has attacked to the Khojaly Airport , and the communication wires , lines were cut off . Armenians ( under the command of Russians ) have attacked the defenceless city and children , elder , women , babies were brutally exterminated .

              Inhumanic atrocities took place in Khojaly . Armenians skinned the heads of living people ; and some of them were tortured systematically or used in Medical Experiments . The men who resisted this inhumanic treatment were killed .
              Armenians dismembered the people by axes , large saws ; raped and skinned the heads of young girls . The baskets were fulfilled with heads.

              - What was the reason of this animosity and vile treatment ?

              IN Armenia , the maps illegally show 12 provinces of Turkiye inside their border . IN Armenian swabs, there exist the picture of Mount Agri . National Anthem of Armenia says
              " Our territories are occupied
              In order to liberate them ;
              DIE and KILL . "

              56 pregnant ( babyless ) women were found dismembered ; However just 613 was the official report of killings. And it is obvious that the casualties will never be known .

              1275 were captivated , 487 were heavily wounded and the rest has run away from this vile assault . But the souls of the survivors shall never forget the bloody days of illegal invasion .

              Noone has believe in the words of eyewitnesses first . However when the journalists went to Khojaly , they understood that the words included no exaggerations .
              The sentences of the French Journalist has again proven us the barbarity ;
              Jean Yves Jounet : " I 've listened to many war stories . I 've heard about the tortures of the Fascists . I hope anyone will be an eyewitness of such a inhumanic holocaust " .

              Who was responsible of this genocide then ? IT was Robert Kocharian . HE promoted in Dashnak Zoutioun because of his heroic (!) attitudes . Levon Ter Petrosian could not handle the " threats " of extremists and he was forced to sign out because his wish was to make a peace in Karabagh . ( March 30th 1996 )
              After this quit , Robert the Butcher of Khojaly has been the prime minister of Armenia .

If there were, why did they not try and stop it, two Armenians guards, versus a whole area of Azeris?
                  Sorry but the logistic of it don't make sense, show me please where and when this took place, plus a lnk to the document, not based on your own hearsay and rampant Anti Armenian racism.

                  Also tell me something quickly. what about the AZERI massacres of ARMENIANS in MARAGHA, BAKU and SUMGAIT? How about we start giving info of that, or is that too much xxxkurtlars to comprehend, fascist

                    It's just a blockade made by closing the border. It's not trade restrictions as such: there isn't any strong ideology or specially-made laws behind it, like US trade restrictions on Cuba.

                      Azerbaijan Threatens to Cut Gas to Turkey Over Armenia Deal
                      [ 2009/04/02 | 12:54 ]

                      Concerned that the Turkish government might open its border with Armenia before reconciliation is reached, the Azerbaijani government has signaled it might stop selling natural gas to Turkey, this according to Hurriyet DailyNews.Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told third parties that Baku would cut gas supplies to Turkey if Ankara reaches an agreement with Yerevan before substantial progress is underway on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, the Hürriyet Daily News & Economic Review has learned. As a sign of how serious it is, Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of understanding with Russia last week for long-term supply of gas at market prices.

                      Turkey and Armenia are said to have come very close to an agreement on the timetable to normalize relations. As April 24 is approaching, the date each year when the United States issues a presidential statement on the World War I mass killings of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, expectations are high that Turkey and Armenia will announce an agreement. U.S. President Obama had pledged to recognize the Armenian killings as “genocide” during his election campaign. A joint statement by Turkish and Armenian officials on the normalization of relations might prevent Obama from using the word “genocide.”

                      This development in turn has upset the Azerbaijani government, which argues a decision to open Turkey’s borders with Armenia would leave Baku at a disadvantage in negotiating for the withdrawal of Armenian troops from Azerbaijani territory. The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) has been the target of severe criticism in the Azerbaijani press with commentators there accusing the Turkish government of selling out. The Turkish Foreign Ministry has been informed that Aliyev has told third parties that were Turkey to open its borders to Armenia, cooperation on energy supplies would end.
