The one obstacle to Armenia joining the EU is its reforms towards democratization, and the Russian influence over the country (they have a few military bases there).
I don't think armenians will leave. People haven't left the new EU member countries.

Also, Turkey joining the EU isn't all that bad (though I highly doubt they will ever join). If they join the EU they will be liable under European law to pay reparations for their crimes and its subsequent cover-up of nearly a century and counting.

And Iranianazeri, the Germans aren't the only ones opposed to Turkey joining the EU. France, Greece and Cyprus oppose them more than Germany does.
Yes, I just gave one example. The german opposition is the strongest opposition ...

True, Germany opposes it because they already have 2 million ethnic Turks in their country, and if Turkey joins this number will increase substantially. I'd say Cyprus's opposition is the strongest, because Turkey occupies half their country. I don't see how Turkey can join a union when their military is occupying part of that union.

Because their christian goverment doesn't consider muslim turkey as a acceptable part of the EU which they believe has christan values.

Yup, and even though it's not an ethical reason, I'm glad, because then Turkey wouldn't get accepted!

              There are things u missed...
First of all, Armenia's ways to the Europe closed by Turkey and Armenia must solve this problem if u wanna be a part of EU. And as we all know,it's way crossing with the path of peace and understanding.
Second, Armenia has never reached to the life-quality level that EU would admit, like 40 years-waiting-Turkey,Armenia would wait and raise the standarts of life..

LOL That is cute. So to be a [political] "way to the EU," there should be a way by land to Europe? What an "objective" view of realities!!! How about Greece, when none of its neighbors were part of the EU?

Also, it always makes me laugh when a *urk talks about "peace and understanding."

Note: I have chosen to auto censor the words "*urk," "*urkish" or *urkic" because it is commonly perceived as unpleasant and offending, evokes unpleasant emotions and imagery and is pregnant with immoral and evil connotations
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.
