i only know his first name ''Hampik'' if im not mistaken ....Hampik was convicted and sentanced life in jail for attempting to blow da hell out of a turk emmbessey years ago somewhere in l.a ....as da story is told hompik wasnt actually da bomber ....but tha blame was left on him and now hes locked up for life.....family and friends did whatever they could by trying to raise funds donations and all dat crap....anything possible to help hompik out of prison....but it was not use .....

(my story of hompik may have some sketches n wrongs but its true and my pops told me mr.hompik was a friend of his)
...to da family and friends that are related or close with mr.hompik ....i bring this up in no ways of disrespect what so ever ..... just that mr.hompik is a famous armenian in my book .....

Are you in that much of a rush that you can't type "the" and feel the need to substitute it with "da?" Or maybe "the" just isn't good enough for you. I can't understand why; I think it's great. It's softer and more pleasant than its ebonic counterpart. I think you should stop being black and say "the."

I don't know Hampik but I'm glad he wasn't able to go through with the bombing.

I think his name was Hampik Sasounian and he was convicted of bombing a Turkish embassador to death in the late 80's to early 90's or so.

He was wrongfully accused or something and his lawyer is Mike Geragos (Michael Jackson's and Peterson's attorney) who is also Armenian.

Hampig Sassounian, it was in 83. It was an assasination, no bombing, no he wasn't a part of ASALA. He was wrongfully accused, and yes Giragos is his lawyer (Actually Giragos's dad was the first lawyer). He's been in jail since, the person that did it got away.

They retired him under the new laws set up after sept. 11, but his previous conviction stood. The DA wanted more added on to it. He's up for parole in 2007.
