1- Stating the fact that the intellectual/cultural level of this forum drastically degraded since you, skinheads, joined

When I'm addressing - or referring to - a skinhead, I use the word "skinhead;" shouldn't I call a cat a cat???

Considering that the intellectual/cultural level of this forum has drastically degraded since the skinheads have invaded and infested the forum, I think that we have a relatively acceptable estimate of how "beneficial" they may be to the Armenian Nation; briefly said, they may be as beneficial as a gang infesting a community.

By your very divisive statement, you are one of those "worthless" Armenians TXMENIAN is referring to. I concur.

There's a difference between a "divided" community because of its diversity - in opinion, sensitivities, choices etc. - and a segregationist mentality and ostracism - that characterizes you, skinheads.

This comment is all well and good in a utopian sense, but in reality it is just feel good speech that is detached from the reality that Armenians have always been and always will be, divided...just like every other nation, btw.

In short I find your statement naive because it implies that Armenians should not discriminate among other Armenians whom they disagree with - especially on issues of great importance - such as the maintenence of a viable Armenian nation-state.

"Armenian-ism" should be measured on how beneficial you are to your own people.

Again, when you paint in broad strokes, your assertion is valid. However, in realty, it is not that simple. In many respects the diaspora can be detrimental to the Armenian State. Look at the pro LTP rallies in Glendale a few months back...supporting a candidate who (by every national and international standard) LOST the election. This sour grapes behavior can only serve to weaken the Armenian nation.

And what is really making me mad is when I see some armenian "nationalists" telling who is armenian or not. A nationalist is supposed to serve his nation. These bigots don't realize that by dividing the armenians they are actually behaving like traitors.

I agree. But, that is not even close to what I am refering to. I'm talking about debate/disagreements about where one stands on the course of Armenia's political evolution.
Sometimes unity is impossible. Take the LTP vs Sarkisian for example...

It is way different to call a nativearmenian "turk" etc because of political diagreements (hell I might have done it as well) since he wont take it seriously because he knows that he is armenian and that his armenian identity is not in danger. But when you do this against a diaspora armenians or even worse, against armenians who are mixed but still care about their country (more than many "real" armenians) it can be dangerous.

For example look at Nightowl. I disagree with almost everything that she wrote. But I have no doubt that she is telling the truth when she writes that some members of the armenian community treated her like an "outsider". This type of behavior doesn't serve us in the long term. We don't have the privilege to lose assets. This is why I am stressing this so much and I have done it other topics.
