My problem is knowing when to use all those letters that sound the same (in Western Armenian). For example, the proper spelling of the Armenian word "mud" is ցեխ but ց and ձ sound similar and I forget which to use. Is there a rule for this, Federate?
Unfortunately, the only rule is memorization of which letter to use.

I wouldn't do it if it's copyrighted material.
Agreed. It just becomes a habit to know which letter to use the more you write it. There are rules for ր and ռ for example («ն»-էն առաջ «ռ» կու գայ with possible exceptions) but most of these do not have rules.
P.S. If you know the Eastern Armenian pronunciations, you can try to say the words that way in your head and based on that, choose the right letter )
