I have heard some people say that this means molorial in Armenian, but doesn't molorial mean something else?
Prodigal in Armenian means "aradatsern", which means to spend lavishly.
But "mesxogh" is for living it up extremely lavishly and above one's means.
"Molorial" or "moloril" is to be lost from the right path. In an ethical sense "molorial" is when one gets mixed up with bad friends or steals for instance. In this way it is inferred in an ethical sense and not in a positive way.
Prodigal in Armenian means "aradatsern", which means to spend lavishly.
Առատաձեռն (առատ (a lot) + ձեռն (hands) ) is used in a good way though usually, meaning someone who is generous as opposed to prodigal which is to waste without thinking.
BTW, the Armenian equivalent of the Bible's "The prodigal son" is անառակ որդին so անառակ could be the word we're looking for.
