"Barack Obama" runs for Azerbaijan's parliament

Asif Mustafayev, well known as “Barack Obama” in Azerbaijan as he looks a lot like the U.S. president Obama, will run for the November 7 parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan from the Democratic World Party (ADWP).

He said in his interview with Turkish media that he will do his utmost for welfare of the country once he is elected. He wishes to meet with U.S. President Obama to discuss with him Karabakh problem, Khojaly Genocide and ceasefire violations by Armenia.

Mustafayev said he recently visited Turkey and made a televised speech drawing public attention to Azerbaijan's problems. When asked why he is running for parliament from the Azerbaijan Democratic World Party, Mustafayev said he follows Obama’s example who is also member of the Democratic Party.

ADWP Chairman Mammad Alizade said Mustafayev has been nominated from Nasimi District of Baku, home to the largest number of the party members. He said he hopes Azerbaijani “Obama” will win the elections as he enjoys great popularity in Azerbaijan.

you're talking bullxxxx. nobody wants to be black, not even blacks themselves.
Imagine being constantly reminded that you're "different" because of the colour of your skin. It sucks. Sure, they like to say they're proud of themselves etc., but deep down, they're just as insecure as the next guy/girl.

So you're saying... Everybody wants to be white? "White" is the winning team, that's why you want Armenians to be white. pfft.

I agree, its ridiculous. Its a case of an Armenian with low esteem that has to prove himself to Anglos and Nordics as if they're inherently better people.

What does that have to do with Armenians being white or not? Africa has many problems that will never be solved but quite a few of them are caused by a history of brutal colonialism.

Why is it then that so many of the older Africans and North Africans, miss the good old days of European colonialism.



The US, EU and Russia's food aid programs have undermined Africa's local markets and Africa now produces 35% less food per person, than it did back in the 60's.

Sub-Saharan Africa is overpopulated and it can't support it's present mass of a billion people without vast quantities of foreign aid. Ten years ago their where 800 million people in Africa and now their are over a billion.

Yet Africa's population is forcast to rise to two billion by 2050. However thats unlikely to happen. As farm machinery, pesticides and fertilizers all consume vast qualities of oil and by 2050 global oil production is forcast to decline by 50%.

I don't wish ill on black people. I'm just saying that's their reality today and has been for long time. As for blacks in Armenia, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to live in Armenia if they want, but they shouldn't expect to be integrated easily, because of ages old traditions. I doubt there's many armenian fathers out there that would give their daughters to a black guy. Except of course for the likes of slluts like Kim kardashian and company, they're not considered true armenians anyway.

I wouldn't count Africa out just yet. They are sitting on top of the wealthiest land in the world. If they can just get their sh!t together and over throw the western puppet governments, they might actually have a decent future. I don't see it happening because the power is so concentrated but you never know. As far as Kim Kardashian and company, take a look at how many "true" Armenians kiss the ground she walks on. Why couldn't Heidi Klum who married Seal be Armenian? We get shallow and repulsive Kim. Terrific.
