Re: Are Armenians white????
Says who? I just had run and check in the mirror. Thank God, I exist; thank God I'm Persian. Thank God Persians exist and are helping the viability of the Armenian state -- what was before, will be again. And most Iranian-Azeris are Persian (some are Turkic - but in a fake state known as the Republic of Azerbaijan they have been highly Turkified.)
Up to the 19th Century, when Armenia was a respected part of the greater Persian Empire, Armenia's lands were 3 times in size, The Persians prevented countless attempted massacres of Armenians (the Genocide was post Persian-Armenia).
George A. Bournoutian (25 September 1943, Isfahan) is a Senior Professor of History at Iona College. He is the author of numerous books on Armenian history and currently the Visiting Professor of Armenian History at Columbia: “Prior to the third century A.D., Iran had more influence on Armenia's culture than any of its other neighbours [i.e., for thousands of years the Perso-Armeno people were linked]. Intermarriage among the Iranian and Armenian nobility was common. The two peoples shared many religious, political, and linguistic elements and traditions and, at one time, even shared the same dynasty."
To Understand what happened to Armenia & the Republic of Azerbaijan - you have to study a phenomenon called "Turkification" or "Pan-Turkism." Real Iranian-Azaris (NOT the people from Azerbaijan) are of Persian stock. You will notice that Kasravi (a pure Persian-Azari) looks NOTHING like Ilham Aliyev, the leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
