Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Not really, you are here again using Stalin as an example and dont remember external circumstances like war, famine, poverty, etc. If Marx was properly followed it would work different, just like Capitalism has never been fully really followed either, if we look at Adam Smith's works, there has never been his exact ideas put in place, however more lack of taxes and an elimination of minimum wage = hell for the proletariat.

Lucky for Canada then because if its one thing that's not lacking, it's taxes And minimum wage is getting closer and closer to the starting salary of a college graduate!! What was it that we're supposed to be discussing in this thread again? lol

What is perhaps even more disturbing is that these women are perfectly content being sheep in the pen.
empowering women is a very bad idea. If that happens in Armenia all hell will break loose. We seen how the west has corrupted akhpars and certain hayastancis living in armenia for long time. Empowering women is just a phrase which masks the real intention and that is making being a "wh-ore" commendable in society. Being a w-hore in Western society, is almost an honour.

Women can learn, maybe work in low profile jobs, but more than that is going over limit; and we really need to watch that limit. If you don't watch that limit the women will become like Kardashian and sleep with every black person they see.

No I disagree, women are equal than men, should be treated the same, given the same rights, and be seen as capable and efficient as anybody in every single thing..........but other thing is going "feminine liberation" a la Western-style. The Western-style type of women has been brainwashed with a mentality which is aimed to turn them into into stupid robots in order to "fit in", maing them believe women just serve to look pretty and be "girly". They make them believe that the only way to be equal than men is by this statement: if men are pigs, you have to be a bigger pig. However, many Eastern-style women are treated as simple objects of the men, just like a man owns a car he owns a women, and in both cases women are treated as nothing more than "things".

Women can be as good doctors, lawyers, and presidents as any man, and even better...but they have to have a little respect as the women they are, a little dignity to realize they are more than sexual objects or "things" of any kind, that they can be more than just mothers and wifes, something world society has since the very beginning portrait them as, and something some of them seem to enjoy being, and if not enjoy, be cool with it.

Also we men must stop looking women as just looking-pretty machines, sexual objects...stop being sexists.

The Western-style type of women has to do with the so-called "feminine liberation" which indeed turns women into xxxxxs and makes them believe that that's how you are equal than men, if men are pigs, you have to be a bigger pig, but in the other hand many Eastern-style women are treated as simple objects of the men, just like a man owns a car he owns a women, and in both cases women are treated as nothing more than "things".

women is not same to man. They are two programmed different. I'm not saying women should be treated as total objects like strict Muslim countries, I'm saying it should be given clearly the place for women in society. Women should not be allowed to cross certain boundaries in society. Women can learn, have jobs like nurse, teachers for young, but not high jobs like in government or positions of power. Blacks, Muslims, etc. are waiting for the day that the western culture fully corrupts Armenia so they can come and corrupt all the women and ruin the already falling integrity of Armenian people.

Do you know what kind of reputation Armenian women have now especially in areas with many Armenians? I don't even want to talk about that reputation but it's really bad, and it has very tarnished the Armenian integrity. And the reason for that damage, is many things some of which include 1)western culture 2)bad families 3)lack of Armenian Orthodox church and so on...

The only way to save Armenia is to unify church and state into one entity. It is drastic change, but it is only way we may be able to save our people and fight corrupt morals.

I prefer Iran over any other nation right now. But it's false that Western and Eastern Armenia was a concept that began during the Safavid-Ottoman wars. Eastern and Western Armenia is a concept that began when Persia and Rome (Byzantine) separated us. (Byzantatsiner, Parsigneri hed, tserk tserki dvadz, pzgdetsin mez -- from Hayer Miatsek -- refers to that. "Pzgdetsin mez" does not refer to a massacre but the fact that they split us up into pieces).

Number of crimes committed by foreigners increased in Armenia

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The number of crimes committed by foreigners has increased in Armenia, according to RA Police chief.

“The crimes are mostly committed by Romanian and Iranian citizens,” Major General Alik Sargsyan told reporters on Wednesday.

“There was an attempt to smuggle 4 kg of opium and 6 kg 700 grams of heroin in Armenia recently,” he said. “I met with the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia last week and do not rule out a meeting with Iranian counterpart to discuss the issue.”
Filthy drug-addicted Iranians trying to bring their poisonous culture into our society. The Armenian police must hand them over to Iran so they can be hanged!
