Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Sorry, it's not her right. Having a woman on the front will inhibit most men's ability to fight as she becomes a burden and a distraction. The only way women can be on the front is if men forget how to be men, i.e. forget the fact that the women are women, or women go to the front in women only battalions (but that would be a major disaster as women go panic^2 when trouble comes their way and no men are there to sacrifice themselves for them, err protect them.

Maybe that would be the case, but most likely, they will be a major distraction to the men. Once you bring sexual temptations to an army base all things go haywire.

There is no proof of this. Women are no better than men when it comes to being a sniper. And if you're going to bring the fact that during WW2 there were many women snipers, know that during WW2 women rarely volunteered to be on the front lines, but many volunteered to be snipers (given that it's a much safer method of fighting).

The government shouldn't spend its limited resources on promoting and encouraging women to join the army. These resources can be better spent on other things.

Just because women serve now, doesn't mean they should be encouraged to do so.

Has nothing to do with weapons. There are many aspects of Israeli army like women's incorporation that can be learned about. Already Armenian politicians have set up a committee that is going to study several aspects of the Israeli army, I posted article.

Armenia to study Israel’s experience in army formation
        February 4, 2011 - 18:28 AMT 14:28 GMT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Armenian parliamentary standing committee on defense, national security and internal affairs, member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Hrayr Karapetyan said that Armenia is going to study Israel’s experience in army formation.

“This refers not to women’s conscription, but to an individual approach, better organization of conscription and elimination of corruption risks in the armed forces,” Karapetyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, a working group established during the last sitting of the committee will deal with these matters.

Karapetyan noted that the working group, consisting of representatives of public organizations and experts, will study experience of foreign countries.

Heh, Armenian women would flee the country in flocks if mandatory conscription was placed. On the positive side, the mail order bride business would flourish.

Mos, you cannot possibly be this naive. The Israeli military is successful mainly because it is supported by the West. Incorporating women in the military does very little.

Hell, there are close to 1 million army eligible men in Armenia, yet the active Army size is much, much smaller. There is no need to incorporate women to boost army size.

oh yeah, they would. Armenian women, more than others expect all Armenian men to die for them. Well, that's pretty much women in general.

That's mostly because of pu$$ies like Bryan Adams singing queer songs.

When did I say that they are successful because of women? Of course support by West plays huge role in their success, I was referring to the fact that a Armenian committee will be formed to study Israel's army experience, and maybe try to utilise some successful tactics that are used in training or warfare, in our own army.

                    Hmm..
so i read a lot that Armenian women are only good for producing children and staying home. probably one actual advocate that they can be smart (anti-air logistics).

i also read from other threads that they're primary job before kids (and throughout kids) is to be a good cook.

The military soldiers would argue they'd prefer eating better. They get to stay on base, "safe and protected" by you men, and there are quarters on base so theoretically could even raise children there.

Oh, the soldiers will prefer eating better, but it won't be food they'll fancy eating...
