Britain or it's military tried to get the ones responsible in front of a judge that is more than any power to this day has tried to do. The imperialists back then believed that it was their duty to protect other Christians (was just propaganda) but the populations bought it so they had to play that game. Like UK allied with Greece in their war for independence against their own interests while the other great power except Russia was against it.
I doubt the elite was ever anti-J3wish in America. The rules of law were based on Judeo-Christian principles and J3wish organizations have always had a strong foothold in America. Perhaps they weren't as noticeable or outspoken as they are now.

Most of the political elite back then in the US was pro-Armenian and anti-Turkish but they were also against the idea to interfere with what was going on in Europe, the Monroe doctrine.

How can you blame the US without blaming every other country in the world that also did nothing to stop the Turks, only Britain tried to punish the people responsible but failed because of allied imperialism and the fact that they couldn't agree what to do with Asia-Minor. A little fun fact just before WWI Russia was getting ready to partition Asia-Minor together with the UK and take over most of the territories.

Let me make something clear, I myself enjoyed most of Persepolis posts. I just don't want to help Turks duck responsibility. Maybe some of their leaders have been crypto-Jxxden (called DÖNMEH) but this won't make them less guilty. Remeber that the oppression of Armenian people didn't start with the youngturks. Since Turks gain control over Armenia they started reducing the native population of Asia Minor with massacres and oppression. The Adana-massacre or the Hamidian massacres were not the first pogroms against Armenians. Ethnic homogenization and ethnic cleansing has always been part of Turkish policy. It doesn't matter how you call them, crypto-Jxxs, kafir or just nationalists or fascists. They did it in the name of Turks and Turks benefit from their policy. They abused Islam, even declared Jihad against all non-believers. Muslim Turks, Kurds and even some Chechens executed, butchered and raped our people. Crimes like Genocide cannot be commited without involvement of the wast majority of the population, especially in such a non-industrialized nation . There were some Arabs, Kurds and even Turks who were good people and tried to help, but this is absolutely normal. "Expections prove the rule."

Kanada, again you're 100% correct. Here is something else I found - The United States (with the help of the J*wish lobby) archived information about the Armenian Genocide and chose to do nothing. Just remember that an Iranian helped find this material for you: It's a Smoking Gun!

"Deportation of and excesses against peaceful Armenians is increasing and from harrowing reports of eye witnesses it appears that a campaign of race extermination is in progress under a pretext of reprisal against rebellion… Protests as well as threats are unavailing and probably incite the Ottoman government to more drastic measures as they are determined to disclaim responsibility for their absolute disregard of capitulations …Suggest you inform belligerent nations and mission boards of this.”

(Source: United States of America, National Archives and Records Administration Record Group 59, Records of the Department of State Decimal File 867, Internal Affairs of Turkey; Decimal File 860J, Internal Affairs of Armenia.)

Also added to the Pan-Turk database.
