Maybe, but the Armenian lobby likes to think it has clout, I think it is over rated. I wish they had has much influence as some ascribe to them.

On another note, if it wasn't for the Armenian Lobby in US (which is actually pretty powerful) US policy would be much more pro-Turkish/Azeri. After all, if you were US would you support one of the biggest powers of NATO or a landlocked, small country with no resources and an alliance already with Russia?

Unfortunetly much of the legitimate opposition parties are being silenced not by the party in power but by the more powerful opposition parties like the HAK. Since the HAK gets funding (from uncle sam) it is the only opposition party with a voice thus it basicly hijacks legitimate opposition which is terrible for the country. ANC has already waisted so much resources and time that one cannot help but question its intentions. If they are finely changing course twords nation building then it is indeed great news but i do not trust the anc to use our resources for the best interest of the Armenian nation. The ANC has waisted so much time and resources already that i question just whose interest it serves. I know some of the leaders in the ANC and they are simply powerhungry jerks who have no vision for the armenian nation. Nationbuilding should have always been its priority and they waited decades to finely do something in that direction. From our churches to our polititions we lack quality and vision. A nation building plan should have been concieved when the soviet union collapsed but instead we have waiste decades worth of resources on the impossible while ignoring the critical needs of Armenia. Where was the ANC the last 25 years? If it takes them that long to realize the proper course of action then do we really want them to lead us politicaly? Leadership with brains, heart and vision is something we in the diaspora simply do not have.

It would be 'desired' if he gets the f*ck out of the NA. Raffi is another well known agent of influence in Armenia, and it is made worse because he is an MP.

The waiver clause is actually pretty good since the finger can be directly pointed to the Presidential Administration if the Act is waived.
