I have not noticed a change or i'd be the first one sending them complaint letters but if you do, let me know. I always scan their articles when I see they are re-posts of azatutyun.am. With articles like this one, I doubt Asbarez is becoming just another tool of the US and its lackeys.

That was a good article. The editorial before that though was very harsh on the current government in Yerevan. Although one can argue that this is in line with current ARF views.

They used to do that. Now it seems they do not correct it all of the time. I will find examples as they come up.

They now claim Artsakh is an azeri word. Ar = Arran, sak = Sak or something. its idiotic

The failure on the Armenian part was much bigger than losing Artsakh.com. Azerbaijanis put their foot in the Internet world much earlier than Armenians did. They had websites running already by the time we discovered the tool. Azerbaijani users such as the douche who owns Artsakh.com acquired the website in the mid 90s.

Asbarez.com changes the biased wording RFL/E uses to match pro-Armenian teminology when they re-post azatutyun.am. For example, the word "occupied" is found in RF:/E reports all the time when it comes to Artsakh but when re-pasted by Asbarez, it will be replaced by "liberated territories", etc.

They used to do that. Now it seems they do not correct it all of the time. I will find examples as they come up.

Also, if you check out asbarez.com, which is linked with the ARF, many of their articles are taken from the Armenian rfe site and published verbatum. They have been doing this more recently, and as we have seen, anti-Armenian articles in the western press have been published/posted more often in the past 6-8 months. Since the strategic agreement Armenia signed with Russia in August 2010.

So that video was posted by user 'karabakh' and azeri. On his user page he links to Artsakh.com which is an azeri ngo. It pisses me off that they have stolen the Armenian name for it and set up a pro azeri site. A fail on the part of Armenians by letting this happen!

I will get more specifics for you shortly. I will leave you with the info that during Cold War the ARF did work with the cia, and that included helping with the Armenian version of rfe.
