What I had in mind of course was 1% off interest rate per child therfore a family could buy a house interest free when 5-6 kids.
5-6 kids not uncommon in bygone years.

May be a good idea, but I see maybe just giving cash or things like cars, animals, house as more eye catching. An incentive program for such a thing is hard to devise, there are many factors that need to be calculated.

The right route is the heavy restriction on abortions, I would advocate banning abortion all together, but that may create some issues. I think the best way to start is banning parents from knowing gender of the baby. That is going to reduce a lot of abortion. Next, giving greater incentive to each child made by the family. And things like 5 children or more, gets you a living space, and so forth. Another idea could be having marriages have to be registered both in civil government (secular) and Armenian Christian Church.

Abortion was the standard method of contraception during Soviet times. So if that idiot "gynecological oncologist" actually thinks that "in the majority of cases, aborting the first pregnancy leads to infertility", he must also believe that much of the female population of Armenia is sterile.

An artificial termination of pregnancy implies nothing more than homicide, according to a Armenian clergyman.

Gynecologist urges against law banning revelation of child’s gender

    November 23, 2011 - 14:27 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia doesn’t need to adopt a new law banning revelation of the child’s gender to prevent gender-related abortions, according to a gynecological oncologist.
As Vahe Ter-Minasyan told a news-conference in Yerevan, as Armenia’s reproductive health law allows abortion up to 12th week of pregnancy, the gender of the child may be revealed after the 12th week. “Thus, instead of adopting a new law we must ensure non-violation of the already existing one,” he said.
According to Ter-Minasyan, in the majority of cases, aborting the first pregnancy leads to infertility, as well as many other complications that might take years to recover from.
In conclusion, the doctor strongly urged to use birth control, noting abortion as unacceptable for a normal couple.

    Armenian clergyman condemns abortions

An artificial termination of pregnancy implies nothing more than homicide, according to a Armenian clergyman.

At a news conference on Wednesday, Fr Kyuregh Talyan, a priest from the St Katoghike Church of Jrvezh (Kotayk region),
criticized abortions, calling for the church's strong measures in that direction.

"A human being begins life from the moment of conception. To me, an emotionless concept like 'artificial termination of
pregnancy' is nothing more than homicide," he said.

Speaking of the modern world's perceptions of human rights and a woman's freedom to do whatever she wants with her body,
he said such mentality implies sexual licentiousness and brutality.

"A decline of religious values has caused such moral degradation. What answer are we going to give to God?" he said,
adding that the Armenian nation might have new geniuses and gifted persons if there were no abortions.
