Well having read the messages, first of all let me clarify regarding the Armenian women prostituting in Turkey. They are not doing it out of their own free will, even though I am disgusted by this to an extent that I cannot simply express by words. They are most of the time kidnapped, promised a visa, documentation to leave the country or most of the time legal work for compensation. Thus they are shipped to those countries, mostly to the muslim countries. Degrading isn't it? Who can pinpoint the cause? The leaders of the country are the ones to blame, rather those who brought them to power, rather those that brought the current leaders to power and who brought the previous leaders to power. Anonymouse probably guessed the answer to this one. And those that visit Armenia and think its great, i'd suggest you reconsider your answers guys. There are some people that share this pain with me, some aren't aware of it.
As far as Armenian girls go, there is dissapointment on both ends. Don't think that if u're confused on how to approach Armenian girls that Armenian girls don't think twice before talking to the guys. The reason for this is mainly that there is a disconnect, before in Armenia everyone knew everyone, who they were, where they came from, what their family was like, etc. Here they're/we're so spread out that we cannot 'classify' our own kind.(perhaps a negative connotation/choice of words) This society gives too much freedom it takes it away too, as fast as it gave it. The crooks that lurked in Armenia,Iran,Iraq, etc., wherever you can find Armenians, lurk here, some are shown the way to become rapists, thiefs, murderers, thugs, etc. Besides this the realization that to live a good life you must work hard, harder than anyone to achieve a certain materialistic status, some take a short cut often times not approved by us.
As far as disciplining children goes, so that they don't end up like the girl mentioned in this thread, is teaching them right from wrong. Making sure they have enough high self esteem to think highly of themselves, to respect themselves and others around them. It all comes from the family, from the educational background the parents have, the time they put into teaching and disciplining their children. This society is a very complex one, and I don't see one Armenian family that does not struggle to survive here. Perhaps not so much materiastically as morally. So what should we do to keep the Armenian within us, pass it down from generation to generation, so that they don't melt in this pot? I dont think we can achieve this, while we see some singers almost making love to some russian on tv, while he's singing with a lisp.

Jinx...let me tell you something I myself have been working on. When you marry someone, you are marrying her to start a family. She has to be a terrific mother for your children, not some beauty queen (would be nice to have both ). Anyway, I too have been noticing that Armenian girls are losing their quality, therefore I have come to my own conclusion. I will marry a smart girl who I find to be a very good mother for my children (white or armenian) and i will raise my kids to become good armenians. I noticed, what our parents worry about is not that we are ruining ourselves, but we are ending their family names. So, if we can assure that our children stay Armenian, it really would not matter who you marry...look at the jews, they marry anyone but their kids stay jewish...

Im sorry but not all Armenians are like that. Just because there are stupid ones in Glendale doesnt mean you have to marry out of race.
That is one of the poorest excuse I have ever heard in my life.

Its annoying as hell to hear people say "Oh there arnt any good Armenians left so I'm going to marry out of race."

Plus its going to be very hard for you to raise you kids to understand the Armenian culture because you have a second party and that is your wife. And she might want to raise her kids to be Hispanic or white or what not.

In my life I have met jerks. A few bad experiences are not going to make me give up and say I will marry an oter. No way..No how.
