An "Armenian" with any amount of mestizo or mullato mexican blood is not Armenian. They can serve for the good of Armenia but they cannot be Armenian. Unless the mexican in question is one of the few ruling class Spaniard aristocracy with no negro or native tainting.

cough cough - hm - never heard the (Spanish?) aristocratic or "no negro" clause to being Armenian. But perhaps Armenians in Yerevan have a no Southern California clause in their definition, and maybe Iranian Armenians have a no shawerma eating clause, and Bulgarian Armenains might have a no Russian mix clause....ya think?

So are you suggesting that because I'm a quarter Assyrian that I am not truley Armenian? Or are you saying if you specifically have Mexican/Spanish blood in you then you are not Armenian?

Maybe i'm wrong but if your mother is of one culture and your father of another, then if you should so choose, you can be of both cultures. Of course sometimes on side takes more presidence. As in my case, I'm more Armenian than Assyrian. My Grandma was Assyrian and my Grandpa is Armenian. My Dad is 100% Vanetsi Armenian and my Mom is half Armenian and half Assyrian.

Ifa person is active in his/her community and loves their culture and activley participates to better their culture, then I have more respect for them rather than a person who is 100% Armenian but sits on their butt all day and just complains and does nothing for the good of his/her people.
