"Seda" translated directly from Farsi (Iran) means "voice" or "sound". So that might be related to this "voices of forest" meaning. But the word "seda" in farsi has no Armenian roots as far as I know.
I know both Armenians and Turks named Seda.
It's very likely that the Armenian "Seta/Seda" and the Persian "Seda" have a common origin; but it's very unlikely that the same can be said about the Armenian "Seta/Seda" and the *urkish "Seda."
Arguments against:
1- If Armenians and *urks used the same name then it should have been "Seta." I have never heard of a Western Armenian named "Seda."
2- I have discussed it with someone who knows *urkish. It seems that "seda/sada" means something like "pure" or "not mixed" in *urkish. My curiosity/intuition led me to verify if "Seda" exists in Japanese or other languages having affinities with Uralo-Altaic languages - such as *urkish - and it seems that "Sada" means "Pure One" in Japanese.
3- "Seda" is short enough, so homonymy is very likely
4- The *urkish "Seda" can also be a transformation of the Arabic "Saida." Personally, I would be inclined towards the Japanse/Uralo-Altaic origin of the *urkish "Seda."
Arguments in favor:
1- The *urkish "Seda" may have a Persian origin.

Note: I have chosen to auto censor the words "*urk" or "*urkish" because it is commonly perceived as unpleasant and offending, evokes unpleasant emotions and imagery and is pregnant with immoral and evil connotations!
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.
