Funny you should ask ...

I work primarily with Italians and one of 'em is like 50% Italian. He cracks me up when he tells me that he's looking to marry an Italian so his offspring have a higher % of Italian in them. He's thinking as long as his kids do the same then his lineage will slowly creep back to a higher % Italiano.

Italians are crazy, however it had me thinking I could do a similar thing since I am a "halfie" (thanks again Tom for pointing that out j/k). Still I don't even know a single, no pun, Armenian lady. As a matter of fact I've met zero Armenian ladies that are my peers.

Even still the whole idea my Italian friend poses is silly. It's similar to a limit that approaches infinity. You'll never achieve 100% ever again no matter how many generations follow his plan. You'll get infinitely closer but will never reach 100%. Also similar to GPA ... if you make straight 100% on all your tests and then you flunk one ... well you'll never be able to obtain a perfect GPA ever again ... you can get infinitely closer but never actually achieve the same academic standing although 99.999_% is in my mind ultimately the same thing ....

To answer your question ... maybe if I move out to CA and meet a nice lady. There should be some around D-Town ... if I were single I'd go to one of the Armenian churches around town ...

I'd be like "Yo ladies say wut up to the human hairball!" just kidding ...

interesting question....although i don't see myself getting married anytime soon....i am sure when the time comes i will marry whom ever has taked ahold of my heart...I suppose it really shouldn't matter what ethnicity he is, but it does. It is so much easier to have a healthy relationship with someone who is similar to yourself and your families background. I am very americanized since i was born in L.A. and lived here my whole life. I suppose if i met the right person and they happened to "not be armenian" i would think about it....could happen.

P.S. i should be honest: i have never dated a full blooded armenian....but they did have a percentage of armenian-ness to them.

As far as the question, WELL OF FREAGIN COURSE I'M GONNA MARRY AN ARMENIAN. Can a kind and wonderful Swedish girl call me "Kianks" and make it sound convincing. I no tink so. Can a suave and gourgous Italian woman help me raise children that would wake me up on Sunday morning with "Papa, ktanes mez partez khaghalu u pakhpaghak utelu?". I no tink so. I want those things. Not everyone does and that's OK too.
