Valentine's Day is just a ploy to sell candy and flowers.

Makes single people feel shitty that they're still single, and as for couples, it's the only day they need to buy something nice for their signifcant other. As if they can't do that on their own, on another day. They need to do it on "Valentine's Day". If you love someone, you should buy them candy and flowers, or whatever it is, whenever you want. Not on this holiday.

I'm sick of people saying, "Oh, no, Valentine's Day is here. I hate Valentine's Day, I'm single! "

I've never had a Valentine, and never will.

Just stay in school, be successful, and one day you will make millions and the chicks will flock to you.

I'm not one of those people complaining about being single. I could care less. I don't need chicks to flock to me. But I will stay in school.

Christianity and the Apostolic church saved the Armenians. We would've ended up being like the countless other Anatolian tribes that got sucked into Islam and would've assimilated into Turkish Identity.

And the Church is the last fiber keeping the Armenian Diaspora connected.

Ive always pushed this exact viewpoint as well so i wont argue with you, but sometimes it just pains me to see us go from kings like Tigran Mets and their large (by our standards) empires to mediocrity and merely survival under other nations, this whole thing of mine is mostly a reaction fueled by Raffi's "Khent".

Well, without Christianity - we would most likely be either Persians or Turks.
