"Iranian Armenians" is probably a better word given the fact that Persia hasn't existed for hundreds of years now. And as far as the "r", some Armenians (especially non-Iranian Armenians) forget that there are two types of R's in the Armenian language. Not everything is a strong "r" which many tend to use ubiquitously.

I'd use "Armenian-Iranian," but we don't even use that term in Armenian. We call them Parskahays and so do they.

This above is one of your "rare" posts that actually has depth and meaning. It shows that you are not completely "devoid."

Tommy that was awesome. I loved it and thanks for that website.

Also folks, I just discovered something awesome! It turns out you can read Wikipedia in Armenian!

            Just go here:

Browse to the bottom right where it says "Armenian language edition of Wikipedia" in the box. Click and you're home!

The only ppl in my family that knew how to speak Armenian were my grandmother and my grandfather, so when they immigrated to Brazil and learned how to speak Portuguese they created their own Armenian "dialect" by using the word in portuguese and adding an "Armenian" pronunciation to it when they couldn't remember that specific word in Armenian. It turned out that all their kids could only speak Armenian amongst themselves since no other Armenian would understand what they were saying. They still do it. I, for instance, know very little of Armenian, but most of the time I know what they're talking about since they always end up saying something in Portuguese in an Armenian way...
