Re: I wonder why there's so much hate directed towards Armenians..who don't look arme
No freak, you are a fallacy.
The reality is, invading Turks were a minority when they first arrived in the Caucasus and Anatolia. As Byzantine authority got weak, Turks gradually began to assimilated Byzantine society, namely through conversion of native Greek Christians, and to a lesser extent Armenians, Assyrians, Kurds, Slavs, etc. The Armenian nation was bled dry for centuries, the genetic traffic, however, was essentially one way - going out not coming in.
Regarding looks, I suggest you go back and look at what classical peoples looked like, hundreds of years before Turks or Arabs appeared in eastern Europe, Anatolia and the Caucasus. Early Europeans, from the Basques to the Etruscans, were mostly olive skinned brunettes. As a matter of fact, some of the biggest and nastiest noses to be seen are upon Roman, Greek and "Aryan" Parthian coins. And regarding language, Iranians use a great deal of Arab and European words. Turks use a great deal of Arabic, Greek, English and Latin words. Besides, what's your point?
You need to get over your twisted obsessions regarding race. Oh, wait a minute, I forgot... You are a racist.
Our genes have been isolated by us being a Christian nation in a sea of Islamic peoples. But we do have some Assyrian mix in us and mixing is increasing to a great deal in our times.
What's naive, not to mention stupid, is the strange belief that looks somehow mean anything in reality. As long as an Armenian is a productive citizen, as long as he/she is a decent person, as long as he/she upholds Armenian identity, I don't care what they look like. Besides, some of our biggest names have looked....
Well, here, let me just say it - Armenoid!!!
You know, just like your favorite Armenians - Paruyr Sevak, Aram Khachatrayan, Frunz Dovlatyan, Monte Melkonian, Serj Tankian, etc.

Our features are likely the result of mixing with our conquerors, enemies, and neighbors. And, as a result, true Armenian features have probably changed over the centuries. You do not see Iranians or Turks using Armenian words in their dialects but Armenians have blended their words into our tapestry of language.

Our genes have not been isolated by geography, ideology or history.
As naive as it may be to say that we are all blonde and blue eyes, it is equally naive to say that our features now are true 'Armenian' features.
